.............. Recently signing on with indie label 3Flip Records, Baldwin, New York based band Nonstop To Cairo released their "Self-Titled" EP, and is poised for a strong 2012. Only 4 months together as a group, Nonstop To Cairo cliqued right away, going on to win Long Island's "Battle Of The Bands". Immediately after this feat, the 6 piece ensemble began writing new material and made their way to New York's e...steemed Sabella Studios, teaming up with Multi-Platinum Record Producer Jim Sabella,. Sabella, who's had the pleasure of recording the likes of LL Cool J, Public Enemy, and Marcy Playground, raves that "Nonstop To Cairo is one of the best bands I've seen and recorded in a long time." The band's new EP marks the first time Nonstop to Cairo has hit the studio with their revamped brass section, giving the record an incredibly live and colorful blend of rock that echoes the pocket of the P-Funk All-Stars, and the genius of bands like Weezer and Reel Big Fish. Their "Self-Titled" EP builds upon Nonstop's signature style with the slamming rhythms of "We Be", their unique blend of reggae and driving guitars heard in "Set the Tone", as well as the band's ability to stimulate good vibes with their upbeat single "Rooted". Nonstop to Cairo is looking to build upon performances with several prominent, nationally touring acts, as they are continuously playing shows, and currently bringing their big sound, and electric stage presence to an already outstanding fan base. A six piece from Long Island, New York, Non-Stop To Cairo is group of friends looking to find their place in the world of music. After a line up change in early 2009, Non-Stop expanded their sound with additional guitars, vocals, and a horn section to create a style all its own. With members of such a broad range of musicianship, Non-Stop To Cairo shapes something truly unique. In the past six months, Non-Stop had the privilege of winning the Long Island Music Festival as well as being featured in the local press and Internet radio. After gaining notice in their hometown of Baldwin, Non-Stop To Cairo is looking to where they can go next.
