Formed in the summer of 2007, Not Even Death, rose from the charred remains of local screamo band, Your Portrait Here (2005-2007).
After spending a year without a guitarist in the band, they finally managed to find someone who meshed well with them and they've been going strong ever since.
Today, Not Even Death, has become a genre blender, creating a melange of sounds, including: metal, indie, jazz and hardcore. This genre blending has given them a refreshingly unique sound.
Captivating live performances are what has earned this band it's following. You will be drawn in by the powerful, positive messages in the lyrics screamed and sung by a female vocalist, as well as driving bass leads, catchy guitar riffs, and masterful drums.
09.12.26 - TWO NEW SONGS!!!
We just posted two new songs, "Truth Unbending" and "Would It Kill Ya" these songs were recorded back to back by each member and they are by far our best sounding, and tightest recordings to date.
We hope you enjoy listening to them as much as we did tracking them!

09.06.15 - NEW LIVE VIDEO POSTED!
This past weekend we played an awesome show at The Bridge to help raise money for a mission to Nicaragua. We shared the stage with our friends in Hearts In Stereo, Our Apologies, Devir, and ThereEZnoEYE.
We have a video of our opening song Annihilation of Ambition posted just below this in our videos section, give it a watch if you like.
This song is currently not on our myspace, but it IS on our facebook page in slightly better quality, so just search "Not Even Death" on facebook
and if you ever attend our shows we are now selling Not Even Demos for $5. Come out and grab one before theyre all gone.

09.04.19 - NEW SONGS UP!
Finally after two sleepless nights in House of Fish Productions - we have everything we intended to post... finally up!
Sorry for the delay on the songs, last night Mike recorded some of the last vocal tracks for it... so it was a pretty tight deadline to say everything would be up on the 18th. But what matters is that NOW everything is up!
And it doesn't stop there!
If you've watched the video of us adventuring for a photo shoot, then you may or may not be aware that we have EVEN MORE new songs that until the last two video posts, hadn't been heard by anyone but NED camp here at House of Fish... and perhaps the neighbouring houses...haha.
If you'd like to hear more... you'll have to come see us live on June 12th with FEAR BEFORE, DR. MANHATTAN, KIROS & AVENDALE. It's going to be a great show... mostly because of Kiros (nothing against any of the other very talented bands)... but Kiros has a special place in our hearts :). It's an all-ages show, tickets are $13/$15 at the doors. Show kicks off around 6pm... bring your friends and their friends friends, and all your moms. It's at The New Bayou (1071 Bank St.).
