There is a ten student limit, therefore students are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.     NOVA - Annandale Symphony Orchestra Fall Concert

    Under the direction of its music director, Christopher Johnston, the NOVA-Annandale Symphony Orchestra will present its Fall concert, “A Season of Anniversaries,” on Friday, November 13th, at 8 p.m. in the Ernst Center Theater.

    On the program will be Schubert’s Rosamunde Overture, Haydn’s “London” Symphony, Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, and Saint-Saens’ Danse Bacchanale. NOVA History Professor Terry Alford will give the welcome.

    The concert will celebrate the 200th anniversary of Haydn’s death, the bicentenntial of Lincoln’s birth, and the 15th year of the Orchestra’s concerts at NOVA.

    Admission is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students with IDs, with children aged 12 and under free. For tickets in advance, call 703/569-0973 or write joseph@pincus.org. For more information, call the NOVA-Annandale Music Office at 703/323-3114.
