About me:
The Noyes Cultural Arts Center houses the City of Evanston Cultural Arts Division and more than two dozen local artists and arts organizations. We manage cultural arts services provided by the City of Evanston including arts camps, Evanston's public art program, Cultural Fund grants, and arts and music programming. The Noyes Cultural Arts Center also features two gallery spaces with new work up every 6 to 8 weeks. Our summer programming includes the Evanston Ethnic Arts Festival, the Evanston Lakeshore Arts Festival, and the Starlight Concert Series at four park locations throughout Evanston. Noyes Blog features staff postings on our projects and open a dialogue for ideas on programmatic improvements. As a government organization, our number one priority is to provide the best services possible to the public. Please feel free to participate via posting comments with your own opinions and ideas! Las Vegas and Phoenix Art Exhibitions By Ken Boe
The synchronic vibration between object and metaphor is
the magical dimention of beauty that my artwork seeks out. My idea is that all
objects, be they old containers, art works, art supplies, tree roots,
or concepts themselves, continually vibrate frequencies of meaning in
a continuum of metaphorical…

Order a copy of the Greylight Anthology to read Enemy Towers! Click here for my stage play Enemy Towers: http://www.amazon.com/Greylight-Theatre-Selected-Plays-Seasons/dp/0595211852
Enemy Towers is an avant-garde parody of academia written to coincide with an art exhibit curated to have works by local artists both in the performance, as well as in an adjoining gallery space where a reception will be held each night before and after the play.
Its first run at Greylight Theatre, directed by Jason Hedrick, was a hilariously smashing success, leading to publication in an anthology which, ironically, has occasionally been used as a text book in academia.
I grew up in Evanston, and its come to my attention that some of my friends are pushing for Enemy Towers to be produced at the Noyes Cultural Center. I would be happy if this were the case. I always visit the halls there, when in town, to see the current art show. It is the perfect venue, and city, for this play to be produced in. kenboe@gmail.co
the support is much appreciated
