For fun lastnight we did a unplugged version of "I'm Becoming" and "Push" @ Caffe Cicero downtown Napa. We had a lot of fun doing it and want to say thanks for the support for those of you that were there. Since this one went so well there might be talk about doing another unplugged session sometime in the future. Until then come check us out live at The Boardwalk next week in Sacramento. This place has a great sound and there will be some great bands playing next Sat, the 14th. SOO BE THERE!!!

Wow! What a great turn out last night at Slims! The show was a blast. Thanks to all the peeps who came out to show their love. And thanks to the other two awesome bands ( A Band Called Pain and Stagnant) You guys rocked! And a special thanks to Megan Arnold who worked so very hard on this event. We'll never forget it! Also, all you mothas who came out from Napa on the bus! Thanks to James Tennery and Anna Falcon for the media coverage and thanks to the team:Dan, Robo, Tina, Creature, and Chris. You guys are hardcore muthas! Thanks to Phil Deyerle for hooking up the limo bus. And thanks to Slims.

Slyly toeing the line between hard rock and straight up metal, these guys use the hybrid to their advantage, showcasing impressive variance in their riffs and vocals. It's not as much whisper to a scream as it is shout to a full on wail, but the build up and destruction of the sound is less than subtle. Bottom line, these guys do what any great rock band does: Instead of finding one riff and riding it for four minutes, they use it to build muster and proceed to shoot it off in all directions before you have time to catch up. The result is a group of songs that will not grow tired quickly, as it becomes hard to tell where one ends and the next begins. This is not to say all the songs sound the same. Specifically, it's the complex execution on each track that ensures there is no leeway for repetitive stagnation. Intricate but not self-serving, this is an accomplished work from a group that wrenches an incredible amount of sound out of just four individuals.

NUMIC will be playing their last show of this year - Dec 17th @ The Boardwalk In Orangevale. This will be a great show!!! We have Automatic Static, Track Fighter, Aroarah, Downshift, THEN - NUMIC HEADLINING. NUMIC will be doing something crazy at this show so be sure NOT to miss this one. More News - Numic has been busy in the studio working on new songs for the next album due out hopefully by spring. We will keep you updated.

ANNOUNCEMENT - we would like to thank everyone for their support through out the 2005-year. Our fans have helped us reach many goals this year.

In 2005 NUMIC's Recrudescent Feed has sold over $10,000 in CD sales. I know this is not "BIG TIME" however it is still a great accomplishment. So we as a band would like to give a BIG thank you to all our fans for all their support in 2005.

Also a Big thank you to 98 Rock Sacramento and Mark Gilmore for all the support, And airplay on LOCAL LICKS.

Oct 10th Numic will be taking a break from the "rigorous touring" to work on new material. Catch Numic back "on the road" November 26th kicking off their "world tour" at the Boardwalk in Sac. That's all for now.

AUG 22nd 2005 The show Friday night at Blakes in Berkeley was BAD ASS!! NUMIC would like to thank "Alias For Release" You Guys Rock, we hope to play with you guys again SOON. JULY 17th 2005 98 Rock will release it's 12th CD in the Sacramento Rock Compilation CD Series in late August. This CD will feature some of the best bands in the Sacramento Area. The goal of this Compilation is to raise money and awareness for The Mustard Seed School for Homeless Children in Sacramento. Numic has been chosen to be on the cd! Congradulations to all the other bands. Make sure to pick this one up and help homeless children and support local artists.

JULY 11TH 2005 Numic wishes to thank EVERYONE who came out to support at the Slims Show! We all had a good time and the show was a huge success! The music lovers and fans that came out, rock and with out them, it's just a rehearsal. Numic loves you all! Also special thanks to Megan Arnold for putting this show together so nicely. And thanks to Drist and Zeromind for rocking the house. And thanks to the road crew, Dave, Dan and Robo. Numic can't wait to do it again!

MAY 16th 2005 Numic welcomes new bassist Matt of Northern California. What happened to Mike Vieira? Well, Mike was really an alien being from the planet Miltonaria-Alpha-zorco in sector GTO5150 and had to depart for his home planet to battle the evil Fecal Miget Master who is attempting to enslave his people. Numic hopes Mike will return someday soon to be a part of Numic again in some way. Maeanwhile on Earth, Numic will be preparing for shows coming soon and also has already started writng new material with Matt Healy on bass who we think was deported from his own planet. numicband@yahoo.com
