TONIK OBIEKTIV was born on the 16th of January 1981 in Bucharest .
He made his fisrst steps in hip-hop music als Tonik Obiektiv and at the same time was the band Obiektiv established(1999).With this band two official tracks were recorded.
-in 2001 on the Red Dog Music mixtape (the Trasglobal EMI edition) the track “White and red“, this was dedicated to Catalin Haldan.
- in 2004 the same track was re-mixed and added on Red Dog Music 2.
Meanwhile the band Obiektiv performed at proms in Bucharest but also in other cities in Romania.
In 2004 "Arrow" leaves the band Obiektiv.That is why they never finished the LP and so Tonik Obiektiv went on his own way and became a solo-artist.
In February 2006 he builds the independent label “ Obiektiv Music” and gives many new artist a real chance to promote themselves at concerts which were organized by Tonik himself.
In May 2006 he appears on the mixtape "First Steps" vol 1, with 2 tracks plus the featured artists ( Secta and K-trina ) a bootleg material produced by Obiektiv Music .
In June 2006 he appears on the mixtape " Hip-Hop Anthology vol 1", officialy produced by CDS Music , where he can be found with the track Sideeffects.
On the 4th of March he releases the Ep "Characterization", the promo material was dispensed for free on the internet, it contains 6 tracks and betokes the first official album signed Tonik Obiektiv.
In September 2007 the second volume of the mixtape “The next steps“ is released where Tonik is present with the track “WHY?“ a featuring with Dj Sonia (Veritasaga) and K-trina.
After almost 3 years of hard work,obstacoles and strugles finaly comes the new album “IT’S TIME “out, which was released on 30.05.2008 .
This Lp contains very impressing features : Grasu XXL , Barac , Mario , R.A.S.A. , Dj Undoo , Dj Sonia (Veritasaga ), K-trina ,Cainele a.k.a Sol’dat ( Burn Babylon Crew ),Tony’ Batranu ( Delikventii ),Dizzy, Power pe Vinyl ( Ilogic ),Dovada 33 , Jada (Pirates Klan) , K-nnabis , Hellass (Mecena) , producers : Agresiv , Motzu , InSecta ,Gabi Mitran , Aleko , Shhican , Pogo .
The Lp “IT’S TIME” is seen as a social-ironic one which is inspired by the romanien society with direct and objective topics.
In Febrary 2008 he got a proposal to present and produce a tv-show called “ Hip-Hop Stuff” which was weekly diffused on the internet [ http://www.muntv.ro ] .This was the first hip hop tv-show on-line in Romania.
In the same time he gets a proposal to play in the soap-opera “Dragoste Rebela “ ( a show made by young people and especially for the youth) diffused by an on-line tv-channel( Mun Tv ).
In the present he has many concerts and he signed a contract with the label Tempesta Production .
He adores black music like Hip-Hop, Soul, Ragga, R&b. He grew up with them all these years.
Among his favorite artists we may count: Ice Cube,Mos Def, Nate Dogg, Gang Starr, Aaliyah, Bob Marley,Mary J Blige, Tupac Shakur, Jay-z, Grasu XXL, Ombladon. In the same time he loves pets ( beautiful women who know how to inspire )
