God. Searching for God. I freakin' love good music (mostly metal)! I like playing drums and writing and reading poetry. Research anything that might get me to a better understanding of this mystery called life. I like learning the intricacies of how people interact and why they do what they do and what they think and why (I'm a closet sociologist). Listening to music. Listening to music. I love listening to music. I like speaking Spanish and learning about other cultures. Anything that has to do with God and what people think He is will always get my attention. Life, the universe, and all that we observe in it basically.

"THE FOOL HATH SAID IN HIS HEART, THERE IS NO GOD. THEY ARE CORRUPT, THEY HAVE DONE ABOMINABLE WORKS, THERE IS NONE THAT DOETH GOOD." PSALM 14:1
Music
Favorite bands include: Opeth (none more original), Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, The Gathering, MewithoutYou (Aaron Weiss is a lyrical genius), Eisley (melodies to melt away), Extol, Tourniquet, Mortification, Lacuna Coil, Anberlin, Flyleaf, Lily Allen, In Flames, Weezer (Island in the Sun baby), Jimmy Eat World, Pink Floyd (how can you have any pudding if you don't eat your meat????), Coldplay, Dream Theater (take me as I am), Anberlin, Emery, Mastodon, Cranberries, Darkest Hour, Between the Buried and Me, Blindside, August Burns Red, Megadeth... So many more... so little space...
Opeth - Porcelain Heart ..
The Lumberjack Song ..
I'd rather be listening to music... But I'd watch 2001 anyday... and Bladerunner...
Television
If I had cable, and didn't work second shift, I'd probably watch more TV. But that's fine becuase most of it is a waste of time. However, I like Dr. Who and Torchwood on BBC America. I like all those nature and universe type shows, documentaries, and interviews about interesting people. Freakin' Conan O'Brian is the best! I also like any station that deals just with the weather...
Books
The Bible (but to be honest, I'm beginning to think it's deeply flawed). Gosh I've read so many. I used to read more than anybody I knew... The last book I read was called Marley and Me. It was about a guy and the lifetime of his insane dog. I loved it! I cried... I love almanacs, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and just about any other reference book. I also have a strange fascination with maps...
I'm strange. Brutally honest, intensely personal, thoughtful, observational, a deep thinker, caring, and I tend to wear my emotions on my sleave. I've got nothing to hide. Take me as I am, just as I will take whoever comes across my path. I am as imperfect and flawed as the next human. All in all, I'll probably make you uncomfortable if you really want to know me personally, but I have enough confidence to say that it's probably worth it. So I hope you've got guts. But I do not judge and I will not hold a grudge. So say what you mean cuz I don't play games.
As for the rest of me... I'm in a spiritual transition right now. I've begun a massive search for God. I've decided to step back from my faith as a protestant Christian, there are just too many things in the bible that I can't accept right now. Too many contradictions. Too many inconsistancies. I'm really beginning to think its words are deeply corrupt by man.
What if this is true? Have I been fed a lie? ..
I'm a gentle soul, trying to figure things out.
And I don't like being taken advantage of, and I hate being pushed.
SO CHILL!!!!!
Caleb plays the drums ..

I know what I DON'T believe:
Fitna ..
Who I'd like to meet: God. A good woman who's really interested in me and gets me. Any other non-self destructive and positive individual who has the ability to accept others regardless of any differences.

Your picture cracks me up!!! If it's a fairly decent sized one, I might have to print it out and put it on my desk at work. I love it!!! I did check out that profile very briefly. Pretty interesting stuff that was up there. I actually spoke to my siblings about it today. We had about a 2 hour conversation regarding everything you and I talked about last night. Amazingly, nothing was learned except that everyone had questions. Well, unfortunately, I've spent 44 minutes writing people back, and so I need to get offline. We'll talk soon. Take care!
Quick note. Don't really feel like being on a computer right now. :-( Joys of being a professional geek. Anyhow, CD shopping was more than disappointing, and Cuomo is going back to the store. Will tell you what I got at another time, and also, I loved the video. A downright hoot.
LOL! You're such the dork. Actually, it would be the happiest day of my life to see her erupt. There are two things that I'm practically begging to experience: 1. An earthquake and 2. a volcano eruption. That's why we're going on the trip. She's very pretty when she's angry.
Are you big into history? For 4 months, I had the wonderful experience of diving head first into Art History. It was absolutely phenomenal. I loved it. You know what came hand in hand with 13th Century Art to 1890's art? The history of the concept of Religion--Christianity, to be exact. That, alone, has me thinking that this whole thing is just another chapter in someone's social studies book (well, in the future, there won't be books, but some ridiculous virtual knowledge pod of sorts) for kids to scowl at and think, "They believed that??" What gives us the right to think that our truth makes much more sense than the Egyptians that had proof of their gods?
Hey, Bro! Hope your puff-factor has subsided. You don't need squishy-puffy cheeks like mine. Here's hoping your punim is back to muppe-licious state again soon. Peace and Chicken Grease...
So my busy school year is coming to a close on Tuesday, and I'm now a Microsoft Certified weirdo of sorts. Now I can talk to you. Yay!!! Thanks for the CD, again. It made a horribly long daily drive to and from Columbus a bit shorter. :-) Sweet selections. I think I want to hear more from Opeth. I wish I'd known about them because they just came around these parts last month.
Merci pour le comment, mais je ne le comprends pas tres bien. Tu parle espangnol, et je parle francais. Voila. J'apprends l'italien maitenant, mais pas espangol. Peut-etre dans l'avenir...a bientot.
Hey, thanks for the video! She's so amazing :-) I could watch her dance for hours. I'm good. I just turned town a job in Wyoming today. I'm pretty sure that was the right decision and God has something else for me, but it was a stinking hard one to make! What's new in Florida?
