Varela the Humanist is the lead vocalist as well as freelance philosopher. Reverand Black takes rhythm guitar to new heights and is responsible for most of the arrangement. "Marduk's Hammer" is chief percussionist and Obsidian Seraph is proudly mananged by the one and only Roseanna!
Obsidian Seraph was concieved in early 2005. The theory behind the group was to form a band that was true to its metal roots, and also faithful to the apocalyptic lyrics which are steeped in many years of research and divination. Obsidian Seraph is one of the few bands from the Central Valley to have had their music showcased on 103.7 KRZR and 104.1 KFRR and we truly appreciate the support. Obsidian Seraph is a proud Diehard for Diehardz Entertainment member along with many other of the valley's finest. New music and new music videos are brewing in the studio thanks to a fortuitous alliance between Dying Rose Records and Rev. Black Productions! For your enjoyment the Scorn of Seraphs music video has been posted, Check it out!!!!!
