The band later on released the first demo, which was Brennan's debut entitled "Creations" via MySpace. Their second album, entitled Birth.Eater was released on May 26 on Rise Records. The band is set to tour alongside Silverstein, Poison The Well, and The Sleeping. On April 3, at midnight, they released two new tracks from their upcoming release "Birth.Eater" titled "Mother Love", and "The Family Disease". Birth.Eater reached 48 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart.[2]
The band decided to film their first ever music video for "The Family Disease". The filming for the music video is now completed. But no official announcement has been made yet by the band on what date this music video will be released.
Oceana was embarking a US tour with Fear Before, Of Machines, Memphis May Fire, and This Time Next Year from July 9 to August 7 before breaking up, but now they're back!
I love this band:] When I heard there was a music video out to The Family Disease I was ecstatic. It's fantastic! Cinematic! Charismatic! Do another and another! Keep on inspiring guys,
you guys getting back together means so much to me. i love oceana, and it would mean the world to me if you had a date in massachusetts or connecticut when your plan your touring. i know you as a band probably don't have a lot of control, but do what you can. my name is john przewoznik and i look forward to finally being able to see oceana play live.
