our story beginnings sometime around the Summer of 2004 ~~
After a series of successful improvisational meetings, these two sound manipulators decided it was high-time to bring something gnarly and new to their local music scene. Inspired by bands like Suicide, Throbbing Gristle & Wolf Eyes, they formed Hamilton, Ontarios only no rock duo, Offensive Orange (originally OFNSVORNG).
Middle James Co. label -- begins late 2004 with the release of "The Orange Album." MJC releases limited CDrs and cassettes, focusing on tho not limited to Offensive Orange live and home recordings.
{2004-2006} -- Offensive Orange have been honored to play a slew of show in and around the Hamilton area with acts such as Greg Davis, Ariel Pink, Les Georges Leningrad, Pengo, Wolf Eyes, To Live & Shave in L.A. Dreamcatcher, GOA!, Realicide, Nadja, Shalabi Effect, Jessica Rylan, Miscarriage, John Wiese, Sick Llama & Cotton Museum.
{2007} -- 0x0x keepin it quiet with only a few local live performances and a memorable night in Waterloo + 1 limited cassette release on BUM TAPES entitled "Brown Future" ......
{2008} ON HIATUS
::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Offensive Orange are part of Canada's growing marijuana problem and drop a 'car crash into a brick wall' soundtrack carved out of a monolithic mammoth skull. Like feeling trapped in a 3D crossword-puzzle with everchanging shades and seasons. Aquatic weed identification and malfunctioning wires, one step away of making grass-leaved golden eyes a lifestyle.
