There’s two of us at the moment, two singers, three guitars, percussion, banjo, samples, blues harp, xylophone etc, we do lots of swapping around. We operate out of East and North London in our fiercely guarded home studios surrounded by rare animals and faulty appliances. We make a kind of literate, gently psychedelic folk-pop influenced by Americana and roots music, and shot through with a mordant humour. We have been described as operating in the area somewhere between Captain Beefheart and The Smiths. Our new material is more powerpop influenced than our previous more alt-country sound..... LAST YEAR we played three guerilla gigs at the End of the Road festival, and have appeared at the Secret Garden Party, the Wilmington Arms, the Betsey Trotwood, the East Reservoir Nature Reserve, Tamesis Dock, The Social, the Camden Crawl, Foyles bookshop, and at Proud Galleries..... PREVIOUS YEAR we played at the Secret Garden Party, the Hungamunga Festival, LLAMA and at the 3rd birthday party of Hedge in Manchester, and alongside acts like Andre Herman Dune, Alessi's Ark, Aidan Smith, Dark Captain Light Captain, David Cronenberg's Wife, Wave Pictures.......We occasionally organise unusual gigs (chapels and churches, hospitals, art openings), put bills together in London and DJ as well as being lynchpins of Hungamunga and Music at St Barnabas. .... ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ........ .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ...... .. .. .. .. .. .. ............

There’s two of us at the moment, two singers, three guitars, percussion, banjo, samples, blues harp, xylophone etc, we do lots of swapping around.
