10 years ago I recorded a concept album on a 4 track tape recorder based around some of the events that transpired in my life. This was the first ..album' where I had an idea of where I wanted to go musically. Unfortunately due to time and waning interests, I never released this album.
I wanted to re-record ..Orchid' and release the original demo as a 2 disc set. But it didn't feel right to try to augment history.
I have released ..Orchid' in its original form including all the outtakes and re-recording attempts that I was able to locate.
In August of 2009, every track was posted on a blog. I went through each track; explaining, sharing experiences, and criticising the many shortcomings of ..Orchid.'
