FESTERING PUKE is several people. But only 4 are original members, the only 4 to appear on all of Puke's releases and the only 4 who started the puke movement. Their identities are kept a secret in fear of threats on their filthy lives.
Back in the days of tape trading (before my spaces and the ever over growing internet) through snail mail Festering puke started their underground assault in the early 90’s. The main objective was to make a noise band that was offensive and make fun of other bands. Everything that Festering puke has done is done with humor. The band has had everything thrown at them, including being called prejudice. The music is to be humorous and all of their songs attack every race, not one in specific. The only difference between stand up comics and Festering Puke is that Puke has music behind them. Festering puke’s intention was never meant to send mixed messages, but with the ignorance of the media and a small group of activists called NASA (noise artist against stupid assholes…NASA went even as far to send out fliers in the underground demanding people not to buy their music). With that said Festering Puke decided to be more offensive and the band was quickly labeled prejudice, homophobic and feminists.
Little did NASA know how much attention Festering Puke would gain from the NASA flyers and it only heightened the popularity of the band.
Festering Puke caught the attention of several underground enthusiasts attention and continued to spread their self proclaimed “humor core”. Now in 2007 Festering Puke continues to grow a fan base, FESTERING PUKE has a message to anyone who does not understand the band, or is quickly to judge them and label them as ignorant, prejudice or homophobic.
FUCK YOU! IF CAN NOT UNDERSTAND THE HUMOR IN OUR MUSIC THEN YOU ARE THE TRUE IGNORANT ONE’S!!!!! Our music is to be listened too with an open mind, and not the intention of attacking the music but more to gather and process the music and digest it as humorous. If you don’t have a funny bone, please do not add this band to your friend’s page. And if you have any hate mail, feel free to send us messages so we can laugh at your ignorant ass, we’d love to hear what you have to say.
