Oglio Records is a growing independent label based near Los Angeles California, consisting of multiple genres including Rock, Reissues, Comedy and specialty items.
Oglio was started in a spare bedroom in 1993 by music fanatic Carl Caprioglio. Under Mr. Caprioglio's watch, Oglio has achieved national recognition as a successful niche marketer of audio products. Oglio releases have received national attention and significant sales success including a Billboard Top 50 hit benefiting the Make A Wish Foundation, a Christmas music collection with sales approaching 250,000 units and projects with Brian Wilson, Cyndi Lauper, Kool Keith & Ultramagnetic MC's, Johnny Knoxville's Roger Alan Wade, Stern affiliates Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling & Red Peters, Andy Dick and George Lopez.
Oglio has established licensing relationships with most of the major labels including Sony Music, EMI-Capitol, Warner Music, BMG and Universal. In addition to our music licensing relationships, Oglio is a licensee of The Coca-Cola Corporation for music products. Oglio has an excellent reputation and is well known for producing high quality packages. We bring our substantial experience to every new project.
Marketing and promotion are handled in-house by Oglio's staff. Independent contractors are retained for retail promotion, radio promotion and publicity campaigns. Distribution in the USA is provided by Fontana Distribution/Universal. With Fontana, Oglio has the ability to market and sell our products to every retail outlet in North America.
Oglio has the distribution reach of a major label with the attitude and focus of an independent label. With ambitious plans for new projects, Oglio is poised for continued growth and future success.
