Four jaded young cynics meeting in a smoky old back alley bar and playing their way through a night of Bukowskilly sad, subtle, ironic reflections on lost love, passion and angst.
Old House Playground was created in spring 2005 by Tryfon and Evangelos, who had been experimenting with different sounds and styles together for a few years. After some changes to the rhythm section Conor and Andreas joined in 2006 and 2007 respectively, completing the band.
Old House Playground's self produced debut was "The Whore and the Dog:" an album of 14 tracks drawing influence from rock, jazz, blues, rebetica, and flamenco and is available by contacting the band here or by e-mail: info@oldhouseplayground.com
