Born on April 26th 1971 in Marseille,
Olivier has been surronded by music since his very early childhhod, and,
even before he could talk, he began to appreciate the tunes of Magma (his father played with this band),
Jmi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Return to Forever, etc...
After a few years in Paris, as he went back to Marseille, six-year old Olivier already missed guitar a lot !
Though, he really started at the age of 12, on the day his father gave him his first electric guitar : a lefty Jacobacci "right-handed stringed".
At the age of 16, he eventually reversed his guitar's strings, in order to be tuned "like everyone else".
He then decided to get himself much more involved...
Almost self-taught (whereas he did take some lessons), Olivier is starving for learning,
and he finds answers to his questions by studying every musical style!
At the age of 17, Olivier, who got more and more interested in jazz, made music for a living and started giving personnal lessons...
From 1988 to 2000, he showed a lot in clubs, did some studio sessions,
gave personnal and music school lessons and appeared in some TV shows with the rock band "Coyote"...
His influences are as varied as various, from BeBop to Jazz rock, including blues and instrumental rock !
In 2004, Olivier was finalist for the "strat player of the year" organised by Fender.
