About me:

"One Six Right" is an exhilarating documentary film that celebrates the unsung hero of aviation – the local airport – by tracing the life, history, and struggles of an airport icon: Southern California’s Van Nuys Airport. Featuring thrilling aerial photography and a sweeping original score, the film dispels common misconceptions and opposes criticism of General Aviation airports. Through the love story of one airport, past to present, the film shares the timeless romance of flying with all ages.

I watch the One Six Right at least once a week. The cinematography is exceptional. It's my number 1 favorite film. All documentaries should be this good.

After watching the DVD again it made me realize why I started flying years ago! Made me forget about everything that's going on in the airline industry right now..VNY is a great airport, I was able to do some training out there back in '04.
Thanks again!

Hey how can I add your song to my page? Or do I need permission?
BTW This is pretty much the best movie in the world. Seriously. You should do one for every little airport in the country!

That's a very nice piece of documentary. General aviation suffers all around the world these days. Touching and addressing to what aviation lovers have more in common than not globally. Even Lamas presence doesn't spoil the result lol. Great film. Hope one day will come that heart will be part of the soul of power mechanisms across the world.

Two good things in life this week:
I got the movie and sat down to watch it. The passion we pilots have and the love of being in the sky is amazing and to hear someone on a movie talking about it makes you think about why you enjoy it and agree with the cast “it’s something you have to behold”

And the second thing I was issued my airmen certificate today.
Happy flying all
Jeff
