If you have no interested in reading a review which will contain no, what so ever, negativity then stop reading just about now. Here we go. I saw someone posted something about Jim having a new band, I believe it was on the LWR board or so but didn’t pay that much attention to it, basically cause I’m not into listening to music through myspace or anything through my laptop really. Later on I read a short interview with Jim over at the Double Cross Webzine and that’s when it came clear to me how amazing this band was. I listened to the songs at work over and over (and over and over) again and just thought to myself ”damn, this band is bringing something fresh, they’ve got something to say and they’re awesome dudes” (well, I’ve only met Jim). Some of my favorite parts of this recording: The chorus in ”Generations”, that kind of melodic singing fits both the music and Jim’s vocals really well. The lyrics. Pissed off but with something to say. ”There’s no more revolution within these walls”. True. Live. Yeah, I know I’ll have to wait for a couple of months or so but damn, I can really imagine these songs will be about twice as good live as they are on record. And that says a lot.
