The story of 'Ö-Nirik' from Amiens starts in 2006 with the split of INYTIUM (Groovy-Metal). This time Greg, Iome and Guillaume decide to try out a new style - Death Metal! While searching for a new drummer and singer they already start to write their own songs. Still a little bit unstable they decide to go to the recording studio to give birth to their first demos. Straight after Renaud, the drummer from 'PLANETARIUM' (Heavy Metal), joins the band. As Greg and Guillaume decide that the singer should be more of a "growler" they meet Gonzague, the singer of 'WITNESS' (Thrash Death). Now being complete Ö-Nirik spends its time rehearsing and writing new songs. On 3rd March 2007 their first demo 'Lizard Emperor' is released and in August 2007 the recording of their first album 'INCOHERENCE' is started. It consists of 9 titles full of brutality and melody (or where brutality and melody are combined). In December 2007 Ö-Nirik signs up with Great Dane Records, a label from Lille, for the release of the CD which will be available in France, Belgium, Luxemburg and the Netherlands. In March 2008 Gonzague leaves the band because of 'musical differences', soon replaced by Hank, the former singer of NAILWORK (Metalcore). The come out of "'INCOHERENCE" fore casted for June 2008.
From July 2008 to May 2009, Ö-Nirik worked on the second album "ETHER", recorded at Lizard Studio and mixed by Kevin Pandele of the Wavium Studio in Paris.
The band is looking for a record label to release "ETHER"....
L’histoire d’Ö-Nirik commence avec le split du groupe de fusion Groovy-Metal Amiénois INYTIUM en avril 2006. Greg, Iome et Guillaume décident de créer une formation basée sur le Death Metal. Ces derniers commencent à composer, tout en cherchant un chanteur et un batteur pour concrétiser leur projet. Après quelques essais non concluant le groupe décide de se lancer dans l’enregistrement de sa première démo.
C’est au mois de Septembre que Renaud batteur du groupe de Heavy Metal, PLANETARIUM, fait son apparition derrière les fûts et déclenche le départ du groupe. Greg et Guillaume décident de prendre le chant à leur charge tout en espérant trouver un gorgeur.
Celui-ci fait son apparition au cours du mois de novembre. Il s’agit de Gonzague, également chanteur dans le groupe de Thrash Death WITNESS. Les répétitions et compositions s’enchaînent. C'est ainsi que la première démo "The Lizard Emperor" voit le jour le 3 mars 2007.
Au mois d'Août 2007 commence l'enregistrement du Premier Album "INCOHERENCE" composé de 9 titres axés sur la brutalité et la mélodie (Brutal Melodic Death Metal) . En Décembre 2007 Ö-Nirik signe chez le label Lillois Great Dane Records pour la sortie de l’album. Celui-ci sera distribué en France, Belgique, Luxembourg et Pays Bas.
Au mois de mars 2008 Gonzague quitte le groupe pour divergences musicales, il est remplacé par Hank, ex-vocaliste du groupe de Metalcore NAILWORK.
"INCOHERENCE" sort dans les bacs en Juin 2008.
De Juillet 2008 à Mai 2009, Ö-Nirik travaille sur son deuxième album "ETHER" enregistré au Lizard Studio puis Mixé et Masterisé par Kevin Pandele au Wavium Studio.
Actuellement le groupe recherche un label pour la sortie de son dernier opus "ETHER"...

Un peu comme Guizmo j'arrive après les coms de VS. Puants d'incohérence, de bêtise autant pour vous que pour d'autres groupes. Alors je me suis dit qu'il fallait à tout prix que j'entende la vilaine musique et la tragique reprise. Comme je m'y attendais rien de tout cela n'est venu. La reprise claque à mort et votre zik perso est terriblement bien effectuée et efficace. Vous ne faites juste pas partie du sérail. Continuez le combat et perpétuez votre plaisir. Amicalement. Marc
J'ai été voir les com' de VS et effectivement vous vous faites bien chier dans les bottes! Tjs les mêmes connards juste bon a tiser leur kro le cul ds leur canapé a se taper des queues sur des lives d'ACDC...Y a rien a faire pour eux !
Tjs est il que vos titres dechirent et vs me garderez un pti skeud de coté!
