//// D GRIZZLY////
(Don) Grizzly gained classical education on the Violoncello and overall musical knowledge whilst working in record stores in Germany for several years, slurping coffee and finding that Pete Rock beat you always wanted to own.
• Grizzly relocated to London in 2002 after a long spell on the German Drum n Bass Circuit – including launching and running several nights as part of the Groovastic and Booty Shaking Crew, djing and hosting radio shows for several years…
• He met Man One in 2005 @ Love2Radio Camberwell whilst hosting another radio show (featured for Dazed Japan) advocating UK produced music of various genres…After having played at several venues in the capital they then launched Adventures in Rhyme in Bar Vinyl, Camden 2005 with 2 year running residency until end 2007. 2 Mix tape releases with Man One followed and Dysu joined the Adventures In Rhyme team mid 2006.
• Looking for new (ad)ventures Man One and Grizzly decided to release Open Sauce to the world late 2007 to provide an alternative approach to the “say ho” or "bleep bleep" nights in LDN …
• Relocating to the UK also reunited him with his original production team of his early days getting into electronically produced music to continue where they had left of (bigger studio bigger beats).
• Currently (Co)Producer and MC with Battersea based outfit Dead Planetz – debut album to drop in 2008. Also working on tracks for Swapna, a London based singer and part of Dead Planetz, his own solo project 28 Drama and a compilation covering further relevant genres amongst other more Open Sauce relating productions.
//// MEMORY 9 ////
Memory9, aka Gadi Sassoon, Italy’s genre-defying, bass heavy, London-dwelling export. A sound artist strongly focused on live performance, Memory9 has appeared around the world under different guises including Mnemosyne, Arc-Tek and the breakcore duo Aliens At Home. His work has taken such diverse shapes as to have been showcased in art galleries, blasted out of rave rigs or shaking floors in world-class clubs.
There he collaborated with artists such as Dj Vadim (Ninja Tune, BBE), DJ Krust (Full Cycle), Dani Siciliano (!K7), to name a few. He redefined his dancefloor skills, experimenting with unseen laptop performance techniques at some of the best underground nights as well as on grimy squat rigs, exposing him to world-class djing and bass-heavy rig culture respectively. These two elements inform Memory9’s live sets, recently featured in Paris, Milan, Berlin, Shanghai, Boston, Barcelona, Glasgow, and NYC. Audiences and critics agree on a truly unique experience: a fragmented voyage between grimy slicks of bass and sharply structured mosaics of beats and noise, where the familiar and the unfamiliar are mashed to fine grains, blending into a new whole. Countless atoms of sound reworked into a vortex of groove, a dancing murder of pop culture with embedded viruses, Memory9 bridges the gap between the zen of electronic performance and the thrust of live playing thanks to unique control surfaces and homemade software, injecting the floor with his kaleidoscopic vision of music. That, and loads of bass.
Memory9's much anticipated debut record will be available in the second quarter of 2008.
//// LE COUTEAU JAUNE ////
Sounding like an MC battle between Gwar and the Banana Splits, LE COUTEAU JAUNE are a three piece performance based diy 8-bit noise Casiotone bootycore eurocrunk band from London.
Adherents of the creative doctrine of availablism, LE COUTEAU JAUNE's live performances mainly consist of cardboard props, homemade costumes, improvised noise, occasional nudity, and audience participation.
At the moment LE COUTEAU JAUNE are finishing a 7" EP and their first full length album plus slogging away never saying no to any gigs that people or animals foolishly offer them.

//// DEAPOH ////
Born and raised in London, UK, Deapoh was bitten by the Garage and Grime sound around 2003. He soon became a regular at Big Apple Records, hunting the latest Dubstep and Garage releases to hit the shelves.
As he continued djing this fresh sound, he also turned his hand to production, utilizing a range programs like Cubase, Fruity Loops and Reason for his own ideas. As though djing and production wasn’t enough, the young Deapoh also became interested in graphic design, programming and website coding. It was this last skill that has perhaps become Deapoh’s biggest achievement, when in 2005 he turned his small personal website into Barefiles.com, a comprehensive database of mixsets that is equal parts time capsule and crystal ball.
“A lot of people tell me that they got into Dubstep after hearing a mixset from Barefiles,” says Deapoh. “My aim is to give everyone a fair chance of promoting themselves by allowing users to submit their own mixes to the site.”
Now with a serious selection of his own productions under his belt, a bi-weekly radio show on Sub FM and both Barefiles and the Bare Dubs imprints, it’s safe to say Deapoh stays busy doing what he loves.
Who I'd like to meet: Guru Josh, Man in a suitcase, Kraftwerk, Miles Davis, George Clinton, Kool Keith (we met him already. He's small and looks like LL Cool J), He-Man and all of YOU!
