There is nothing interesting about band histories, generally speaking. For those that need to know, Oracle of the Void was a solo project from 1992 onwards, a complete line-up was secured for recording and live shows in 1994 and after countless recruitments, banishments, mutations, desertions and a death, the band miraculously persisted until May 2009. Although the musical component underwent changes, the message was the same from day one. Look elsewhere for details on that.
The key soothes the void Inverting your mind for not all that is sacred will survive the eclips Failure shall breed within the cataclysmic And faith shall deliver your revelation
Cheers for that, appreciate it. Really enjoyed your set last time you were up here too, more frosty than satyricon. Take care, hopefully see some of you around sometime - Tom
actually gonna start writing a new song called "woman of a thousands pain" which will be very influenced by the tattoo priestess from III, might even try to find someway to fit in the lullaby - sleep priestess rest in peace etc. should be a challenge hehe
we actually just got the project zero series the other day. finished III already and it was fucking ace! playing thru 2 now and then one when get it in the mail soon. But yeah really creepy games, had me looking over my back for ghosts when we playing at night haha
Alot of people have been saying to play project Zero, but i havent managed to find it in any shops yet, might give Ebay a go. The guy down here at EB games who likes the same stuff, recommended the PS2 game Farenheit so I'll that go in the next couple of days and if its crap it was only $12 so no big loss.
Have you played Dead Space. It has an awsome atmosphere (alot stronger than silent hill) and probably one of the scariest games I've played. Even made me jump a few times!
it was a concept song we had made a while back, just to break it up a little. There will definately be more material like this and we'll probably keep our material as diverse as we can, rather than having every song sounding similar in style. Keeps the listeners guessing haha
