ORDER OF TORMENT formed in Ballarat in 2004
when Luke(ex ABADDON,DESTROYER 666)and current IMPACT DRIVER with Beano(ex BEHOLDER) and Jason's unique and brutal vocal style had carved a couple of songs out then decided on concreting the line up by recruiting Chris ex member of ABADDON and INVERTED PROPHET
we proceeded to write new material while in search of a permanent bass player. after a couple of auditions we had our bass player,
Marchy(36MINUTESOFMURDER) with a few local gigs up our sleeves we had the opportunity to play in melbourne supporting MORTAL SIN. After experiencing difficulties with rehearsal space and securing a place to jam,
we decided to enter the studio to record our first demo on tight budget.
Currently we looking to make contact with other bands for some live
mayhem.
sep/oct 2007 with the departure of marchy on bass we were in search of a new bass player we were contacted by Hannah who is now currently jam'n with us and trying out for a permanent position playing bass for order of torment,
in weeks to come we will be releasing 200 copys of our early 2007 demo along side 50 t,shirts and will be brutalizing the live scene again early 2008..........
may 2008 ORDER OF TORMENT has released 200 demo cd's along side of 100 compilation cd's featuring ORDER OF TORMENT song "scorched earth" (selling fast) while playing some more local gigs, the band had found it self in search of another bass player as hannah had made the hard decision to leave the band to concentrate on her studies, we have now recruited groges to play bass to complete the line up of ORDER OF TORMENT. with some melbourne gigs in the next few months ORDER OF TORMENT will be brutalizing a town near you......

There is only 1 week left till the 2009 Australian Metal Awards show. The winners of each of the 20 categories will be announced and will feature performances by:
Ouroboros Chaos Divine Killrazer A Secret Death Eyefear Bane of Isildur Five Star Prison Cell Death Audio
And of course the legendary Sadistik Exekution are set to demolish the Forum with their only return to the stage after 10 years.

This is our chance to show ARIA that we are a force to be reckoned with and that their is no other group of people more dedicated to their music than metal heads.
