About me:

Orkun Bozdemir begun his career among the music industry in 2005 as being in charge of the visual communication and public relations within the most prestigios radio stations of Turkey, FG 93.7 & Lounge 102 where he still holds his title. Same year he developed, long awaited Secret Club project which to breathe new life into Istanbul night life by means of conceptual and musical aspects. Most of the DJs whom faced the audience for the first time ever there, are now highly demanded electronic music artists in Turkey. After accomplishing his mission in Secret Club, he moved along with Indigo; one of the most top rated venues over the past years in İstanbul nightlife. In the mean time he formed Wicked!Artists agency, where he realized over fifty independent/conceptual events both in İstanbul and Ankara, also managed local DJs/producers.

In 2008, lack of a proper techno club in Istanbul pushed Orkun Bozdemir and his partners to open Magnet Club. He took over the musical directorship, resident DJing and conceptual design. Magnet Club has been nominated as one of the best clubs in Istanbul. Being the agent of the most important DJs in Turkey, Orkun Bozdemir also introduced his top-notch musical vision by his extraordinary DJ sets at Indigo, Magnet Club, Secret Club, The Hall, Supper Club, Machine, Dirty, Pixie, Mentha, Bubble, Studio Live in Istanbul; at Boombox, Lobby, Ottoo Exclusive in Izmir; at Faces and SmooD in Ankara.

Orkun Bozdemir also performed in Electronica Festival Istanbul 2008 mainstage together with the acts; Trentemöller, Kruder&Dorfmeister, Etienne De Crecy. At several club nights, he played with Nick Curly, Johnny D, Audiofly, Swayzak, Move D and Deetron.

Orkun Bozdemir realizes his radio show in ‘FG Soundsystem‘ on Turkey’s #1 dance music station FG 93.7 on tuesday evenings from 1 a.m. to 2 a.m. (on rotation with Koray T)
