Originaire de Bordeaux, Orville Grant est un groupe de New Country qui vous plongera au cœur de l’Amérique.
Orville Grant s’affirme aujourd’hui comme une des valeurs montantes de la scène country rock française. En 2005, ils ont remporté le tremplin du prestigieux Festival de Mirande et ont fait en 2006 un concert unique et exceptionnel à ce même festival accompagnés de 32 choristes dans un répertoire traditionnel. En mars 2008, ils ont remporté un franc succès en se produisant au Music Box Country show à Poissy où ils ont accompagné en plus de leur prestation, Eddie Ray Cooper et Bobby Solo. Ils seront présents une nouvelle fois au Music Box Country Show en 2009.
Orville Grant a sorti deux albums de reprises entre 2004 et 2006. En juin 2007, leur troisième album « Alone in the desert », exclusivement composé de morceaux originaux d’Orville Grant, leur a donné une reconnaissance nationale de la part de la presse country qui définit le groupe comme un des plus originaux et les plus personnels de la scène française. Leur nouvel album « On the road to Tucson », sorti en Août 2008, voit la présence de Carlton Moody des Burritos Deluxe qui a écrit plusieurs textes de chansons et pose sa voix sur l'un des titres. On peut également retrouver Eddy Ray Cooper et Rose Alleyson en duo chacun sur un morceau avec Orville.
Orville Grant et Erika Pascal viennent d'enregistrer leur premier album en duo à Nashville, Tenessee, avec la crème des musiciens de Country. Ce nouvel opus s'appelle "Two lovers in Nashville" et est composé de 11 nouveaux titres dans une nouvelle ambiance et un nouveau son 100% américain.
