    On January 22, 2006 Joseph Robert Arthur (Leviathan) lost his life in a fatal car accident. He was the co-founder of the band, and it's inspiration. Joe's creative song writing, and sludge - drone guitar style energized Osiris Rising's alternative metal music for nearly 4 years. Joe's emotions & his very soul guided his hand on every note he played, something that is evident to everyone who listens. It is with great honour that we lay the band Osiris Rising to rest in accordance with Joe's passing. We will be forever proud of the artistry we all created together, and the brotherhood we formed. Osiris Rising will remain a tribute to Joe Arthur's legacy.
