OTARGOS was founded in Bordeaux (France) during the summer of 2001 by DAGOTH and R.F. LORD MYSTERIUM. They were rapidly joined by XXX. One year later, after several performances, the band produced their first demo, “CONQUERORS, CONQUEROS… DESTROYERS”, a 4-track pure-black-metal CD. KERNUUN joined OTARGOS as a 2nd guitarist, thus bringing new dimensions and more power to the band’s music.
In 2003, OTARGOS performed with such bands as BELENOS, ENTHRONED, MALLEUS MALEFICARUM, SETH or YATTERING. The same year, OTARGOS recorded their second release, “CODEX-666, INFERNAL LEGIONS STRIKE” and got a contract with DEADSUN RECORDS label.
The band welcomed ARKHAMIAN in 2004 to replace LORD MYSTERIUM. OTARGOS has now found its style: raw, powerful and unholy Black Metal, with no female vocals or keyboards.

2005, OTARGOS recorded their first full lenght album “TEN-EYED NEMESIS”, at the CONKRETE STUDIO and got a contract with RUPTURE MUSIC (a division of SEVERAL BLEEDS RECORDS).
KERNUUN left OTARGOS and ASTAR8TH joined the horde as the new guitarist.

2006, “SPAWN FROM THE ABYSS” was spawned featuring a re-edtion of “CONQUERORS...” and “ CODEX-666 ..” (both sold-out) and bonus materials .

2007, OTARGOS recorded the album“KINETIC ZERO”, exploring diferent musical horizons. a destructive sonic outburst plunging matter, time and space in total chaos.

ARKAMIAN left the band ...RANKO (Artefact ) replaced him as drummer

OTARGOS does not intend neither to create a new B.M. style nor to bring the speediest or the most brutal black metal assault. OTARGOS just battles to make the flame of black metal burn still
OTARGOS is principaly a “live” band, so the list of shows performed are everlasting growing.

Summer2008, OTARGOS has entered COX'IN'HELL and STORMLAB studios in vue to record the new album "FUCK GOD-DISEASE PROCESS".
Autumn 2008, OTARGOS spread is epidemic music in Europe during the “PLAGUE UPON EUROPE TOUR” with friends of SVART CROWN... the drummer THYR (DISKARIAL, WITHDRAWN, ANTHENATH) played with OTARGOS for all dates of the tour cause RANKO were unavailable...
Winter 2009, “FUCK GOD-DISEASE PROCESS” is released (only) in FRANCE , a limited edition featuring the album CD and a full DVD ( many lives from the “KINETIC TOUR”, studio report, “on the road”...)
Spring 2009 , OTARGOS started the promotional “FUCK GOD TOUR’ in France with brothers of FOSCOR (SP)
Summer 2009 RANKO is no longuer a part of OTARGOS, now THYR is the OFFICIAL drummer/blast machine of OTARGOS !!
Summer 2009 (bis) “TEN-EYED NEMESIS” shall be re-realesed in Brazil with DARK NEW AGE PRODUCTIONS. A special brazilian edition with exclusive layout and extra live tracks !!!
Summer 2009 (again), OTARGOS signed with UNDERGROUND ACTIVIST (a division of SEASON OF MIST) a deal for an INTERNATIONAL distribution and promotion of “FUCK GOD-DISEASE PROCESS” ... now OTARGOS SHALL SOON CONTAMINATE THE WHOLE WORLD !!!

Summer 2009 (again bis), OTARGOS leaved RUPTURE MUSIC label ... and now is searching for a bigger one !!!

Autumn 20009, OTARGOS shall rape BRAZIL during the “FUCK GOD BRAZILIAN TOUR” !!! between 22/10 and 09/11 !!! THE HOST (BR) will support OTARGOS !!!


OTARGOS brandishes the blade of destruction and Chaos. The philosophy is based on cosmology and atheism, the un-existence of life or death, the concept front of the quantum world, position and weakness of humanity and the fractal particularity of multiverse and dimensions.
