A four peice punk rock band from kansas city, missouri. Formed in the summer of 2005, with Andy Woods on bass and vocals, TJ Lungren on guitar and vocals, Brad Schauffler on guitar and vocals and Brandon Micheal on drums. Holding down our sound with a wide range of influences from punk, to hardcore and and just some good ol rock n roll. Its a good mixture of everything keeping it loud and pissed off. We put out our first release this summer, a six song ep called "comfortable with chaos" with the help of our friend at blacksail productions.

Punk Rock proudly presents us with Outlaw, a band that was founded about a year ago in Kansas City. Birthrights is unknown for this band but they have been described as old school hardcore with a smidgen of rock and roll that tries to compliment their eclectic mix of straight the fuck up street punk. During their tour across the West Coast that earned Outlaw an expanding fan base that has not ceased to grow. While listening to "ComfortableWith Chaos" I couldn't help but envision a few TV clips of old black and white footage I once saw of Sid Vicious onstage shirtless, bloody the spiked hair on his spastically turning head. Screaming lyrics so forceful that spit was spraying everywhere. This band could of been the opening act for that show, they seem to fit right in. Outlaw's sound is from the admiration of The Ramones, Circle Jerks, The Germs, and Henry Rollins' own Black Flag. All of the above contribute to some of the elements that are heard on this CD. Mohawks and mayhem seem to be high on this bands list, along with booze and babes of course. I can just see these guys slipping around on a beer soaked stage, spit flinging from the opened snarl of the lead singer that spits out each and every song. You got to give props to these guys they fit in with punk perfectly yet tend to lean more on their own original sound. Outlaw's talent will be tested again in the fall when the band will tour the East Coast to help get the word out there, to let people know that their skill and tenacity will eventually pay off and you will hear them loud and clear.
I think they should go out and perform as a supporting act for Rancid...them guys rock!

METALCORE FANZINE REVIEW OF "COMFORTABLE WITH CHAOS" By Chris Forbes This was some good old school punk rock. This is played with intensity, power and style. The tunes are angry, don't sound forced and the songs just plain kick ass. The tunes are short, hit hard, hit fast, until the next one. The production is not polished and the vocals are pure hardcore hate, none of that tough guy crap. A winner here.
************************************* INDIE MUSIC STOP REVIEW OF "COMFORTABLE WITH CHAOS" By C.W. ROSS This band comes out of the Kansas City punk rock scene. The guys wanted to get their brand of punk music out there so they recorded this release in mid-2006. The result is a six song EP that gives you a small taste of the band's brand of punk music. That style is a mix that the band describes as one of heavy punk, rock, and old school hardcore. The band list The Ramones, Anti-Nowhere, The Clash, Black Flag and even AC/DC as some of their musical influences. The songs found on this EP are filled with machine gun like drumming, full speed ahead smoking guitars and street wise vocals. This EP showcases the band's talents and I'm looking forward to when the they put out a full length release. Rating: 8.5 out of 10
