Find out what venues such as The Bowery, Bi-Lo Center, Augusta Country Club & Saloon, Arizona Pete's ,The Beach Wagon ,The Handlebar & many more – and corporate sponsors such as Harley-Davidson and Budweiser – already know: “Outshyne” is quickly becoming one of the most sought-after concert bands in the Southeast and across the nation. A country band with a rockin’ edge, Outshyne is now performing up and down the East Coast at some of the hottest nightspots and biggest venues around. The band opened for Lee Brice in Darlington's Carolina NightLife in 2009, and also played the Bi-Lo Center in Greenville, S.C., as the opening act for Corey Smith. The band’s popularity has led to recent corporate sponsorship agreements with both Harley-Davidson and Budweiser of Greenville. On the heels of capturing the Carolina Music Award as the 2009 “Country Band of the Year,” Outshyne was just named last year’s “Country Band of the Year” for Carolina Nightlife. The group won that same honor at the Queen City Music Awards in Charlotte, N.C. In between picking up all that hardware, Outshyne was busying opening up for acts such as Smith, Robert Earl Keen, Lee Brice, and others. The group has appeared on the cover of “Crank It” magazine, and also won the Gorilla Productions Battle of the Bands contest. Outshyne also appeared recently on WHNS Fox Carolina’s morning show “Fox Rocks,” and performed live on the air at Eagle 92.9 FM out of Florence, S.C. Outshyne just completed its first studio CD, and the debut single and title track, “Country Boy In Me,” is starting to receive air-play across the region. What started out as five high school buddies from Laurens, S.C., playing impromptu acoustic sets around a campfire back in 2007 has turned into a band that has a devout following all around the Carolinas and the Southeast. Outshyne has spent the last couple of years taking its “Country With An Edge” music out of the road, playing nightclubs, private events, and corporate functions. The band consists of Waylon Owings on lead vocals and acoustic guitar, Josh Coleman on guitar and vocals, David McCall on guitar, Jayson Paxton on bass, and Matt “Smiley” Norris on drums. In addition to its own original music, Outshyne also plays a wide-ranging set-list, including songs from acts such as Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Montgomery Gentry, Hank Williams Jr., Toby Keith, Johnny Cash, and countless others. If you can name it they play it. ---.. .. .. .. .. .. .. ---- ........ ...... ..........
