Yeah, I agree with radio junk drawer - it's great to hear the lead vocals so clearly. They sound really natural and easy-going; still angsty though! Everyone sounds fantastic together - especially the new recording of Nothing is Wrong. Daaaaaaannnnggg ...
You should know that Moira and I once watched Paul Westerberg scribble lyrics on a soggy cocktail napkin at the bar of that place. Circa don't tell a soul. Moira got up and sang with the Uncle Toupee.
The live version of Mechanical Heart is so great that I want to tell all the people. I'm starting here, but from here I'll move on to tell all the people: it's great.
Seriously...I just realized it's been a year and a half since I've seen your band. And Kerry told me tonight that all of you thought this was an off night.
I didn't. I was transported. This was SO much better than the other times I've seen you. And those were great shows.
But a) you've really grown into your own skin as a performer (I know you know what I mean by that) and b) it really looks so much more like a BAND now, rather than a bunch of people "backing up George."
Seriously, I can't praise this enough. If this was an off night, I can't wait to see a GOOD one.
Last Night was awesome, GREAT show, very tight...wished you could have played twice as long...looking forward to the Delancey show...and thanks for taking a minute to talk with us after the set. Peace out
