"Boston punks Over the
Edge are living proof there is little distance between Johnny Cash and Mike Ness
(Social Distortion). Their driving brand of American punk rock suggests that if
Elvis were a teenager today, he'd be running a Les Paul through a Marshall stack.
These guys have seen it all before and they have stuck with the classics."

OVER THE EDGE-Tales From The Blacktop Burnout (Rotten Drunk, CD)
The history includes people from Out Cold and Blood For Blood, to name two bands, but this is in more of a street punk 'n roll vein. A hearty dose of Rancid (without the ska), Tommy and Terrors and early Ducky Boys. Boisterous tuneful songs with a punchy guitar sound, sandpaper croonin' lead vocals and boys-in-the-gang backups. Over The Edge aren't reinventing the punk rock wheel but it's an enjoyable half hour or so. (21 Wells Ave., Westwood, MA 02090, www.myspace.com/overtheedge) - Al Quint - Suburban Voice

Tales From thee Blacktop Burnout
8-song CD
OVER THE EDGE is one of the best local proponents of one of the most vile, disgusting, revolting forms of music known to mankind, which, of course means its the best, namely punk rock.
This is there first full length CD and it doesnt disappoint from their previous EPs. From the start this platter has explosive fast rhythms and the first song, Detonate is apt as its the first of many dynamic dangerous ditties like dynamite- going off in your ears tunes guaranteed to blow you brains to smithereens. The breakneck songs like that one and Television are great but I also enjoy the anthem like One Nation, my pick for top of the charts, and the influence of 50s rock n roll in The Kids and Do the Drag. Check them out before the worlds all blown away and your mind becomes like mine. (Slimedog - The Noise Magazine)
our sixth cd "the kids are alright" is being released in CT on NOV. 28 at the EL-N-GEE in NEW LONDON (ALL AGES) and in MASS on DEC. 5 at LONDON BILLIARDS in WORCESTER (18+)!!!!
Sounds good. I know I start training for my teaching position on the 6th and it will be ongoing for a few more months but hopefully we can work something out. the extra coin i make from taking those paid surveys online helps out alot tho; you should really do them too; i mean, hey, the extra money comes in handy, right? i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:

I prolly won't have anything going on that weekend so if nothing else, maybe I can get back to town for a few days then. If I can work it out, you'll have to meet 'em too. Talk to ya later buddy. Keep me updated!
UGH! It's just that he picks the damnedest (I know it's not a word) times to take a nap. I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. I'm moving on from annoyed to pissed off! anywayz, it went good. We got stuff for our wii. How was yours? know what sucks? that IM supposed to be the one that knows about "web-stuff" and your profile is better than mine? Maybe I should just let you take care of mine like mom does Dan's...ohh, that reminds me, speaking of mom; i finally got her to start taking those surveys online like i'm doing, cuz i know the extra money sure comes in handy. you should really try em. i mean, if i got mom to try it, psh, i can get anybody to, heh..i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:

... anyhow, I know we are both kinda like "wo ah" right now. But I just wanted to take a second to remind you that you are Amazing!
