The Idea for "THINK BIG" has it's origin in a memory that generosity, humor, tolerance, happyness, cooperativeness and peaceableness are actually
remunerative attributes. But since always people have a disposition to be small-minded, illiberated relating to abuse of power and to be self-served
at relations, as well as they think self served in policy.
All of these things, had been the identical things that JOHN LENNON had
sensed as bad. So he pointet with campaigns, that these attributs can lead
to war. In my song "Give Peace A Chance" I sing in prospect of John Lennon.
Nearly 40 years have gone and nothing has changed.............................

About Achim Schultz / OverTwenty
ACHIM SCHULTZ: my new single, “GIVE PEACE A CHANCE 2008”, from the Album “Think Big” was released in the United Sates on July 9, 2008. I wrote this song and produced this video clip, not only because I have children, but because peace in the world is needed now as much as ever, ….. I am singing this song from JOHN LENNON’s point of view, as if he was here right now for a short visit. “Nearly 40 years have passed but nothing has changed …”And there is a special story behind this cover design: It was created by Klaus Voormann (Beatles Revolver Cover). As many of you know, he was a member of the original Plastic Ono Band on stage in Toronto with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Alan White where “Give Peace a Chance“was recorded. I have now written my own version based on the original, which is attracting great attention and sympathy from many John Lennon fans as well as from the peace movement in the United States. A growing number of Radio Stations, not only oldies stations or Beatles-aficionados, are playing the song. On May 26 and 27 we shot a video in an old bunker, edited and mixed with spectacular clips in cooperation with Greenpeace Hamburg Germany e.V. ----------------------------------- The album: "THINK BIG"... obviously the wonderful photo realistic cover drawing was not painted by KLAUS VOORMANN this time, but by the second BEATLES-ANTHOLOGY-Artist, ALFONS KIEFER. On the cover my Hoefner bass ,on which I am sitting as a “mini me” symbolizes "Think Big". Without criticizing anything or anyone, this expression stands for my perception and plea for more TOLERANCE; more LOVE; more HONESTY; more REGARD; more FREEDOM; and for PEACE; and no more abuse of POWER. For the latter, JOHN LENNON fought and died for.
