The idea for "THINK BIG" had its origin in a memory that generosity, humor, tolerance, happiness, cooperativeness and peacefulness are actually remunerative attributes. But since people can have a disposition to be small-minded, illiberated relating to abuse of power and to be self-served at relations, as well as they think self served in policy. All of these things, had been the identical things that JOHN LENNON had sensed as bad. So he pointed with campaigns, that these traits can lead to war. In my song "Give Peace A Chance" I sing in prospect of John Lennon. Nearly 40 years have gone and nothing has changed...
My friend Rumpel Fool / Jolly Goodfellow was an artist in the Beatles "Love" show at the Mirage/Las Vegas. He had a bad dream there so I wrote him the song: "Jolly Goodfellow" you can listen to it here.

Give Peace A Chance 2008" by ACHIM SCHULTZ. Thanks to KLAUS VOORMANN for this beautiful cover drawing!
Klaus Voormann designed "Revolver", the most famous cover in the world for The Beatles, and now he has designed for Achim Schultz a really beautiful greeting for the title song of his new CD, “Welcome”
With "Bad Bank" Achim Schultz wrote a song for himself partly from his own experience, but also about the banking crisis. It works also for "To Be Rich" with a shot of irony around the money. The song "Rain" is a true story of long hot summers. This one came into the house and didn't want to stop. The Song "My Space" is really just for fun.

This is the cover of my brand new single, "The Fool on the Hill" to be released December 1, 2008. I wrote this for my friend, Jolly Goodfellow. He performed as the "Fool" in the Beatles "LOVE" show in Las Vegas.
"THE FOOL ON THE HILL IN NEVADA U.S.A." funny video by JOLLY GOODFELLOW & Music by ACHIM SCHULTZ
My single, “GIVE PEACE A CHANCE 2008”, from the Album “Think Big” was released in the United Sates on July 9, 2008. I wrote this song and produced this video clip, not only because I have children, but because peace in the world is needed now as much as ever. I am singing this song from JOHN LENNON’s point of view, as if he was here right now for a short visit. “Nearly 40 years have passed but nothing has changed …” And there is a special story behind this cover design: It was created by Klaus Voormann (Beatles Revolver Cover). As many of you know, he was a member of the original Plastic Ono Band on stage in Toronto with John Lennon, Eric Clapton and Alan White where “Give Peace a Chance“ was played. I have now written my own version based on the original, which is attracting great attention and sympathy from many John Lennon fans as well as from the peace movement in the United States. A growing number of Radio Stations, not only oldies stations or Beatles-aficionados, are playing the song. On May 26 and 27 we shot a video in an old bunker, edited and mixed with spectacular clips in cooperation with Greenpeace Hamburg Germany e.V.
The album: "THINK BIG"... obviously the wonderful photo realistic cover drawing was not painted by KLAUS VOORMANN this time, but by the second BEATLES-ANTHOLOGY-Artist, ALFONS KIEFER. On the cover my Hoefner bass, on which I am sitting as a “mini me” symbolizes "Think Big". Without criticizing anything or anyone, this expression stands for my perception and plea for more TOLERANCE; more LOVE; more HONESTY; more RESPECT; more FREEDOM; and for PEACE; and no more abuse of POWER. For the latter, JOHN LENNON fought and died.

Achim Schultz / OverTwenty's Friend Space (Top 24)
In Germany again staying with some friends, looking forward to a festival in a couple of days. For some reason the sound on my friend's computer doesn't make sense, they are out at present, but will finally get to hear the 'welcome' song soon.
Hey Achim Schultz / OverTwenty! Come check out the new video people are talking about. A video about one of life’s most basic struggles, namely the struggle to communicate with, understand and relate to one another. The song is called “Your Vision” and if you like what you see and/or hear, please consider telling someone else who you think will like it also. Or at least leave a genuine, heartfelt comment. Here it is now!
Thanks for your well wishes Achim. Things will come together some day. At least i've had an interesting life. Sometimes i wonder if i give failure a bad name? Just joking!
Did an eight and a half hour show last night at the European juggling convention in Basque country. Bit silly! I'll probably get around to doing that 48 hour show by the time i'm sixty four. Have to live up to the lyrics to the song you wrote for me.
i'm still at the juggling convention in Vitoria, Basque country, north of Spain. Still feeling a bit shaken up about losing all that work, so much on that laptop. Had been archiving my life, working on personal projects etc, all my spare time in Vegas as well, gone in a matter of moments. Will take some time to get over it, especially as i have to do it all over again, but much of it was totally irreplaceable. It's not fair someone can take all that time from your life so easily. Will take me a long time to catch up now. Such is life.
I started the season off well, had a good time in Germany and at the Glastonbury festival. Got some fabulous photos, but also my camera was taken. I lost my love heart flag in Glastonbury. I used it 485 times 30 minutes in the pre-shows i did for the 'Love' show. I think i lost it at Glastonbury when i was being filmed for a Greenpeace project for the song 'Come Together' My amplifier is broken as well, but will need it for shows soon. Also have no show songs anymore, it was all on my laptop and ipod.
Wonderful cover work from Klaus. A picture tells a thousand words, as the saying goes. I saw the Sideman's journey clip, will be great to see the doco when it's released. I'm on a slow computer at present and people are waiting to use it, would love to hear your new songs. Shame i don't have the pleasure to listen to them on my laptop anymore.
Hope a wave a good luck helps me get over the hill, things have been going wrong for too long. Things can only get better, surely.
Würden uns sehr freuen, Dich hier in Kärnten zu sehen. Sind gerade aus München zurück. Waren am Tollwood und haben ein paar Freunde besucht, die auch hier ausstellen werden. Love & Peace, Evi & Peter
It's a beautiful picture!! And the new song is full of heart and soul, I love it too! Your whole page is looking great actually :)
Sir Paul is coming to TX, cross your fingers for Greg and me to get great seats and maybe Brian or Rusty will want to see us again and perhaps....it can be the time to meet Paul. Send your great positive vibes over to us please!
Tell Herr Voormann and Sandrina and all the band that it's beautiful music, together :)love from us and big congratulations finishing this latest hit record!!!
Wish i was more upbeat to express it, but after getting five years of my work, laptop, writings, ipod, money, camera etc, stolen from some cheap thief in France the other day, am still feeling withdrawn, confused and lost. Five years work lost in one minute.
Here's to the deep places that we create from. Fire works... because we set the sparks. Make this "Art Chi's" Independence day too. Let the world "Know Us Art".
