Ive just started to kayak around the bay on a regular basis. Lots of fun paddling about with the Otters, Seals & birds. Take a look in my pics. There are some awesome views you can only catch by being on the water.
I love playing paintball. It is rough because most of the people I play against & with are 1/2 my age or younger.
I'm still working on making new friends (I still like my old ones too). Love the scenic outdoors that's why I moved close to the ocean. I watch a lot of movies and am a gigantic depository of trivia. I just started to travel and am looking so very much to continue. Maybe even find the perfect place to spend the rest of my life, eventually. Strangely I have picked up my first ever musical instument, the Ukelele. I figured it would be smart to start out with something that has only 4 stringgs.
Music
I grew up listening to David Bowie, Alice Cooper, Rolling Stones, Bad Company, just a whole bunch of Rock'n'Roll. Saw dozens of live shows and loved every minute of it. Now I listen to Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, John Hiatt, Beatles, Dire Straits, U2 & others that move me without making me want to bang my head. I've been listening to mostly folk styled music with some Hawaiian / reggae. It just keeps my spirits up. New favorite, Matt Costa.
Movies
What day is it? I change what sounds good daily. Stupid comedy, romantic comedy, action / adventure, anything that allows me to escape from reality. Almost anybody that has a history with Saturday Night Live has my attention.
Television
Escapism TV for me. Nothing reality based.
Books
I have allways enjoyed losing myself in Science Fiction or Fantasy. Terry Brooks has captured my imagination the best by far .
About me: Father & Grandfather. I've got a great family. The kids are great and I couldn't be prouder. My Brother and his family are in Colorado now so we don't get together as much as would be nice. Always working on finding myself and putting my life in order. Not an easy thing at my stage in life but better now than later and I feel like I'm getting closer every day. Just looking to expand my horizons and meet some new people, make new friends and see life from a different perspective.
