Usually what I'm reading at the moment, but I tend towards mystery, suspense, romantic suspense.
So, I lied about my age. They shouldn't have asked a lady her age anyhow. Especially one over twelve.
Who am I? I am woman (is that a cliche or what?) I'm also an author.
I'm also a retired music teacher from the Chicago Public School System. I've been an opera singer, folk singer, sales manager and music therapist for emotionally disturbed children. I have a keen interest in reading, dogs, collies and horses.
The books I write tend to represent the genres I read. Romantic suspense, mystery and suspense. This is the synopsis of my first published novel.
"In the Arms of the Enemy" a romantic suspense novel is about love, deception and murder.
A valuable race horse and its trainer are murdered and the horse's owner, under indictment for the murders has a fatal heart attack. His son, Adam Blakely is convinced the trainer's partner, Maggie McGregor, knows more than she told the police and goes undercover to investigate.
Maggie McGregor has just lost her partner and fiance and the best horse she ever trained. Devastated, Maggie goes back to her father's farm determined never to train again, until a handsome stranger moves his horse into her father's barn. And, that's when the accidents begin.
This is a story about horses killed for insurance money and the two people who try to stop an assassination team so insidious they could rock the foundation of a horse racing empire.
This story is dedicated to all those horses lost to man's greed and inhumanity and to those humanitarians who make it their mission to save them.

Hey Patricia - I find it by Googling something like "MySpace graphics" or "MySpace comments," and there are whole websites filled with the graphics, which you can copy for free. Just be careful, though, as some of the sites seem to be "virusy." My virus program lets me know which ones, though. The graphics DO make comments more fun, so good luck with it and enjoy : )
Hi all. I'm hoping I'm commenting in the right place. If not--You won't get this. Good luck with all your writing endeavors.
I'm on a 48 hours sprint to which I have committed 8 hours of writing time. I'm committing small, but hoping big. I have my edits and then I really want to work on Legacy (name to be changed later.)
Looks like snow today or tomorrow, so it's a perfect day to stay home and work. (seems that's all I've been doing lately.
take care
pat proud mother of In the Arms of the Enemy and Water Lilies Over My Grave
