Also described as "that Salvation Army sound".
Order Palmyra's new EP "She Digs the Ride" here:
Palmyra Delran plays the kind of guitar that can only be described as "Russ Meyeresque."
She is well known to the kids as founder of the legendary all-girl
rockin' trash-pop band the Friggs, who recorded lots of records and caused a stink throughout the States & Canada for almost ten years.
Now she's got a solo band and a new EP "She Digs the Ride" available now through Get Hip and CD Baby! Turn it up!
Palmyra's past projects include playing drums for Pink Slip Daddy (4 CD's & tons of vinyl singles), Das Yahoos (1 EP), Booty Olympics ("Boystyle" 1 CD), Santa Marias (1 CD), and songwriter, guitarist, singer for the aforementioned Friggs (Vinyl 7" singles, 10" EP, "Rock Candy" CD, several compilations, etc...), and the recently released singles collection "Today is Tomorrow's Yesterday". Movie credits include "Jawbreaker" (2 songs), "Prey for Rock & Roll" (1 song), "Lipstick & Dynamite" (1 song), "the Treasures of Long Gone John" (2 songs), "FUCK" (1 song), "Superbad" (1 song), "the Mystery of Claywoman" (background music), and a Chevy TV commercial.

Please be informed that G. Wood/Undercover Bonobos have posted a new song entitled "Seeds" on their Myspace music player. We strongly advise that you review this material carefully. Your commentary is welcomed.
Analysis: We have been informed that this song sounds like a Communist Collective work song. We are further advised that it may be misconstrued as a treatise on the cultivation of illegal herbage. We are cautioned that some listeners may experience a shift in psychological set and setting during the "psychedelic" interlude. Please report any activity of this nature forthwith.
This song may be intended and interpreted as a tribute to the late, great, Sky Saxon.
We gratefully anticipate your thoughts on this matter.
