Stellarscope's leading man, Tommy
Lugo, takes you on a voyage throughout the boundaries of space and time. His
solo project evokes the sounds emanating from the stars. Blending pop
song-writing, ethereal guitar soundscapes, bleeps, noises, samples,
electronic beats, & floating vocals. He has recorded 11 full
length albums since the winter of 2001.
He is also known in the underground
circuit for the festivals, shows, tours, and constant work that he does to
further scene in the Eastern US and abroad working with hundreds of bands
since 1998 with his company Patetico Productions.

The Panophonic sound has developed
so much that it is unbelievable! This really is some of the best noisepop
created in ages.....awesome! This one will really blow you away. Great work
and composition with multi-tracks and finding the counter-melodies.....the
layering technique is better than ever. some of the work seems to pick up
where (Van Hoen's) Scala or Flying Saucer Attack left off. This is very
fertile territory....ripe for more exploration. These songs are strong
enough to exist without a lot of beat structure, This is some heady and
vital new music being made here..
A whirlpool of sonic distortion
soaked in a swarm of neon bees, guitar soundz swirl & occasional
eruptions into noize flares, electro beats provide hypnotic continuity,
solid state to this bizarre funnel of sound, the vocals emerge & soar

Know any teen bands? R&RAS is hosting a Teen Battle of the Bands at the end of July in Phoenixville PA! Bands between the ages of 12-19 are eligible to compete for a full demo production package- recording session at Philadelphonic Studios, professional band photograph by Kyle Ober, and CD packaging by CDMakers.
Submission deadline has just been extended to July 29th, 2009. The Battle begins on July 31! Help out fellow aspiring musicians by spreading the word to any teen bands you know. Thanks!
