Paperback Freud is a five piece rock n roll machine that hails from Stockholm Sweden, with a notoriusly explosive live show and one simple vision: to make the best damn rock n roll ever!
Up to now they have played and been on the line up with acts like:
Nazareth, Sebastian Bach, DAD, Girlschool, Cathedral, Kamelot, Jorn, Sabaton, Meldrum, Crucified Barbara, Mustach, Hellfueled, Freak Kitchen, Pleymo.
The band has done uncountable shows on the swedish club scene and have toured and played festivals in Europe and Russia. They have enjoyed great exposure on ZTV and MTV (culminating with a 4th place in the Nordic video top list, MTV UpNorth) as well as extensive airtime on Swedish, French and Finish rockradio.

"This was absolutely the biggest surprize for me and the second best overall act on the festival. Sadly enough the number of people in front of the stage was not that big, but those who missed it are the definitive loosers, because they missed something very big. The band comes from Stockholm Sweden and plays high octane RnR. They did not care a moment about the small crowd and played like no one else with happy faces and rocked like hell. I can only say one thing: Respect! The info before the festival was that they sound like AC/DC, DAD or Kiss, but I dont agree on that one. I would rather name them in the ranks of Motorhead and Turbonegro. This is namely fullblooded testosteron rocknroll you get. They are tight and their musicianship is really good.
