Jon Sebastian started recording songs in the late 90's the same way as so many other indie rockers of the decade: with a crappy 4-track cassette recorder in his bedroom. Over the years he produced a series of self-released albums, and played with and recorded with a handful of different members, under a variety of band names (Secret Attack, Swiss Kiss, The Mirror Age, etc). In 2008, after settling on the band name Paper The Operator, and with a new steady lineup, the band recorded "Solemn Boyz EP" at Headgear Recording in Brooklyn. Released by Viper Bite Records, the EP received critical praise from Rock Sound, Pop Head Wound, PunkNews.org, Sound As Language, AltSounds, 30 Music and others.
Upcoming releases:
August 2009: Goodbye God vinyl/CD/digital (new full-length)
Fall/Winter 2009: 4-song EP vinyl/digital
