Deja Vu
"Tumbling and chaotic rock... a nice slice of late 60s psych-rock that's been given a post-punk reworking. Interesting enough to give a second spin". - Artrocker magazine

You Wouldn't Believe Me... If It Wasn't True
"Think a gloomier Bloodhound Gang. Sardonic, doom laden and mesmerising still..." - subba-cultcha.com
Hello! I am a "band".
Between 1998 and 2009 there various other people, for several of those years one was called Will and we made an album called Out With The New, released some singles from it which got some nice reviews and did some pretty good gigs. In 2009 Adam released a second album called Second Sight which also had some singles on it, which got even better reviews and he did some even better gigs. (All releases available as downloads and the albums on CD as well, all on Parasite Stuff Recordings).
Now Adam is writing a third album and putting new ideas up on this myspace page, as well as doing the occasional gig and putting out the occasional single. (See blog or website for more info on all that jizzjazz).
He is open to the idea of having other people in the band again, although he's in no rush as a guitar and a backpack is a lot easier to transport...
If you'd like to get Parasite to play in a live kinda environment or just buy a CD then drop me/us/them a message and I/we/they will get back to you.
For loads of other details mosey on down to www.parasiteofficial.co.uk .
Cheers!
Parasite.
What the press said:
"think a gloomier Bloodhound Gang. sardonic, doom laden and mesmerising" - subba-cultcha.com "oddball mix of programmed sounds and warped pop lyrics. The right side of interesting and not annoying..." - subba-cultcha.com on My Reunion, JC is legend.
"more grimy electro-pop minimalism from subba faves Parasite" - subba-cultcha.com on Infrared "Tumbling and chaotic rock that stumbles beneath the retro organs and thumping rhythm section. The Parasitical moniker gives the impression of something a little more gruesome, but this is a nice slice of late 60s psych-rock that's been given a post-punk reworking. Interesting enough to give a second spin." - Artrocker magazine (issue 88) on Deja Vu
"the death of music" - noizemakesenemies (looks like we did)
''sounds like a cuter Daft Punk with lyrics written in science class." Niamh Starky "these are good parasites, like friendly bacteria, only bigger" MattCatt "S'alright" Alex Minns

Thanks Adam. Funnily enough i've been listening to your album today. It's got a great 80s feel to it. I love "This Song Asks a Question". "Deja Vu" is probably still my favourite though!
