About Parks and Wildlife

Parks and Wildlife is an Austin-based band that plays indie rock, whatever the hell that means. Some members of the band are female. Others are not. Musicians they consider influences include The Feelies, Brian Eno, Neutral Milk Hotel, Mission of Burma, and Neil Young. Members have been or are in The Unbearables, Trouble Down South, The Pushpins, and The Soft Set. Most songs by Parks and Wildlife are about movies, literature, or love on the verge of apocalypse.

Paperwork	Mar 26 2009 4:43 AM Just a friendly reminder that we'll be playing Momo's this Saturday night! This isn't a show you want to miss. Our friends Darcy from Denton will be opening the night at 8pm... they're pretty amazing live, so you won't want to miss them. We're next at 9, with Amy Atchley, Joy Davis and Patrice Pike filling out the evening. The club is making an exception this week for those of you under the age of 18: you can get in to the show until 845. Anyone who gets there before can stay all night, but no one under 18 will be admitted agter 845, so get there early! Hope to see each and every one of you there!
