   About Pat Arp
“The first time I listened to Good Enough, the experience was almost too painful. Maybe because trying to be ‘good enough’ is something I've always felt I had to do. Guess that's a pretty common problem, eh? Whether it's for your parents, your teachers, your friends, your boss, your romantic interest, society in general, or GOD, it seems like we're always under pressure to please somebody, and maybe always fearing they're going to find out we're faking it! And the many voices you use sound so anguished at times! I really felt like there was a lot of pain behind the song. I'm not sure why, but the first time I listened to the song the anguished faces in Picasso's Guernica came to mind. Really! Isn't that weird?! I think the song is really excellent as poetry, as a ‘sonic picture,’ and as art.”—John Thomason, Austin TX, Nov 2008

Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.

Danke, Gracias, Merci, Grazi', and Thanks for the add. The songs I write are a reflection of my life. The lyrics, like an unveiled biography. My inspiration comes from my children, mi familia, and the women I have loved. I give them and everyone who inspires me, my heart...Sign the guest book if you get a chance. Peace n Love, Miguel i give you my heart Pictures, Images and Photos

Oh yeah! Some of that old school shit! I love those songs. The way they've resonated with me makes them as much a part of my life as they are yours. You were a medium to the universe when you wrote those beautiful songs. The greatest blessing of all is to look back at them and remember the ride. Those songs are the sacred prayers of the universe returning to the universe through you, as you were in a special place to receive them. You did not own them but you were the prophet recieving the holy transmission. The design was larger than anything we ever could have imagined but for a short while its purpose was served through you. Artists are mediums as much as they are creators. These songs are gifts to humanity.

Take it easy, Pat!

Pat your music never ceses to amaze me. I understand why you told me before what you told me before that its not about the money with your music and i tottally agree but i think myspace is to small for you pat. Everyone need to hear your music. You are one of those artist pat who when you hear your music you just know, know that no one can duplicate your style, originality, and character. I think your music is one of a kind pat. I am not just trying to toot your horn but really everything you write is golden. I have been meaning to ask you. Someone broke into my car a few months ago and stold all my cds. I was going to see if you could send me your cds. And could you send em all. All the roadhouse "(gosh thoughs bring back memorys"") and the older stuff sarah, burning in my chest, and the newer stuff also imagine, and just all your new stuff. If its not too much trouble. Anyway, let me no when ya get here pat cant wait to see ya and gimme a call. If ya dont have my number its 361 542 0223. Thanks pat love yo and keep on jammin.
