Perfect imperfection in that Cosmic American (GP, thanks) sort of way. Call it what you will, but the bottom line is honest music. It's a living, breathing form.
Having lived in various parts of the American landscape, Patrick Dunn is finding a home in the resurgence of the songwriter. His Americana sensibility and raw emotion recall a sense of timelessness scattered across generations. At the same time, there is something new; a modern idea that points forward. This undeniable combination has Patrick poised to claim his place in the evolving time line of Rock n Roll.
Patrick is also co-founder of Dirt Floor Records, an independent record label run as an artist-collective. Dirt Floor Records is the home of many of the best songwriters in the Northeastern US, and like any good home it promotes a sense of community among its members. DFR artists are known for working together both on the road and in the studio, and are always looking for new ways to promote the Dirt Floor family.
Patrick's latest album, "Down That Road" (Dirt Floor Records) is the continuation of the American songwriter. It presents a journey to the listener that unfolds not only on each track, but over the entire album as well...
"Maybe down that road, we are all meant to go when we hear the voices call us home."
