One of the Europes voices of Jazz, born in Germany and living in Portugal.
Coming from a music background, Pat found her way into music at a young age of 6, through Tap Dance. At the age of 10 she studies guitar but at 15 she found her instrument for life, her voice.
In 1999 Pat Silva moved to Portugal (Lisbon) where she lives and works. In 2003 she was welcomed at the Luis Villas Boas Jazz School (Hot Clube de Portugal).She has been a friend to jazz ever since. Pat Silva has studied with Sheila Jordan(Award winning Jazz Legend), Fay Claassen, Paula Oliveira, Joana Machado, Darmon Meader, Kim Nazarian, Lauren Kinhan, Peter Eldrige (New York Voices, Grammy Award winning vocal ensemble), Filomena Amaro(National Conservatorio Lisbon), Philip Melo, Bob Stoloff ( Berklee College of Music in Boston) and Michele Weir(Member at U.C.L.A. and jazz educator) umong others.
For the past four years Pat Silva had shared stages with a growing circle of colleagues including Ana Paula Sousa, Miguel Martins, André Carvalho, Hugo Antunes, Bruno Pedroso, Bijan Azadian, Ben Aschenbach, Anders Grop, Kay Lübke.
Projects like “ Swinging in Blue” enabled her to tour with various jazz-formations in Portual, Spain and Germany.
Since then she has been busy working in the studio on new projects of her own as well as a band member and background singer for other artists.

Heute möchte ich euch gerne eine neue Aktion vorstellen, diese heißt "DEIN FREUNDESKREIS".
Aufgabe dieser Aktion ist es, möglichst viele und unterschiedliche Bilder, Fotos, Videos, Songs ect. aus 11 Jahren Freundeskreis von euch zu erhalten.
Warum? Weil geplant ist, die Freundeskreis myspace Seite optisch aber auch inhaltlich neu zu gestalten. Dafür würden wir eure eingesendeten Bilder, Fotos, Videos, Songs ect. verwenden.
Die besten Zusendungen könnt ihr dann auf der MySpace Seite von FK betrachten. Außerdem wird unter allen Teilnehmern ein signiertes FK10 Album verlost.
Also liebe FK-Freunde, durchforstet doch mal euren Rechner, Fotokisten, Alben usw. und laßt mir eure Schätze zukommen.
