The PAU HANA BAND was founded by Shannon Kaopua in 1992. Just Shannon and his Uke (Jenny) and friends who would get together after a hard work week.
Today, PAU HANA BAND is still Shannon, Jenny and their good friends. Many people have been part of PAU HANA. They will never be forgotten and are always welcome. Their contributions to the PAU HANA movement are etched in Island Music history.
PAU HANA is more than a BAND, it's about the music and the people willing to carry on the Pau Hana sound. It's also all the things people do when 'the work is done. For Shannon and the rest of us, MUSIC is just one of those things.
