Paul is a singer and musician who was born in Barcelona (Spain) His parents are both from Africa, Zimbabwean father and Mozambican mother.
He’s been surrounded by music from an early age as his father is the bass player Steve De Swardt and since he was a little boy he used to join his father in his reahersals, home-jams and gigs.
He recorded his first cassettes at the age of 11 and when he was 15 he sang live for the first time with the acid-jazz group Princes of Time in the Jamboree Jazz Club in Barcelona. In 1998 he recorded his first EP- Reckless - an electronic ragga project, with Joan Barbena. In 2000 he meets Maxwell Wright (Ojos de Brujo) and they create One2one with DJ Muly. This project comes out of all-night-long-freestlyle sessions in a local radio station. After that, other projects like Motherfunkers with DJ Tillo (Orishas) and F3r (Macaco) came along as well. In 2002 he joins the group Macaco, as a singer, and records about 20 songs included in the Cds "Entre Raices y Antenas " (2004) and "Ingravitto" (2006) where he shows his particular style singing and rhyming. He sang in 5 Macaco tours from 2003 to 2007 in Brasil, Japan, Mexico, Australia, Taiwan, USA, Morroco, Italy, France, Belgium, Switzerland, UK, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Holland, Portugal and Spain. He participated in a lot of soundsystems and collaborated with Reckless, One2one, Zulu930, 2inpar, Calima, Zuco103, DJ Tillo, Ms. Maiko and MaxFx,etc...
Paul loves African rhythms, Hiphop metrics, Reggae melody and message, Ragga speed, and the groove of Beatbox,which is clearly shown in his music.
Right now he’s preparing his first solo album as well as different projects and collaborations.

Cantante y musico nacido el 15 de julio de 1978 en Barcelona,de padre Zimbabwense y madre Mozambiqueña.
Desde temprana edad estuvo rodeado de la musica,ya que es hijo del bajista Steve de Swardt y de niño siempre estuvo presente en ensayos,jams caseras y conciertos..
Con 11 años ya grababa sus primeras maquetas en cassete,y con 15 años hacia sus primeras apariciones en directo con la banda de acidjazz Princes of Time en el jamboree jazz club.
En 1998 graba su primer EP junto a Joan Barbena,un proyecto de ragga electronico llamado Reckless.
En el 2000 conoce a Maxwell Wright (ojos de brujo) con el que crean one2one,un proyecto que nacio junto a dj muly a base de colarse en una radio local y hacer freestyle hasta la madrugada..de alli surgieron otros proyectos como Motherfunkers junto a dj Tillo (orishas) y F3r (macaco)
En el 2002 se une al grupo Macaco como cantante y graba una veintena de canciones en los discos entre raices y antenas (2004) e ingravitto (2006) donde ya da muestra de su particular estilo percusivo al cantar y rimar.
Ha participado en 5 giras (2003-2007) que le han llevado a paises como:
Brasil,Japon,Mexico,Australia,Taiwan,Estados Unidos,Marruecos,Italia,Francia,Belgica,Suiza,Inglaterra,Suecia,Finlandia,Alemania,Holanda,Portugal y España.
Ha participado en multitud de soundsystems y ha colaborado con Reckless,one2one,Zulu930,2inpar,Calima,Zuco103,Dj Tillo,Ms Maiko,MaxFx,entre otros..
Es un apasionado de la ritmica africana,la metrica del hiphop,las melodias y el mensaje del reggae,la velocidad del ragga y del groove de los beatbox..lo cual queda reflejado en su musica.
Actualmente esta preparando su primer y esperado disco en solitario,ademas de otros proyectos y colaboraciones.

Juste un petit commentaire pour te présenter un morceau intéressant: Avec l'accord exceptionnel de Ms Triniti en personne, la connexion France to L.A en passant par la Jamaïque s'est faite sur le puissant "Wi burnin" en mode Ragga Dance hall. En effet, présent sur la B.O. du film très dansant TURN IT UP, "Wi burnin" a fait sensation notamment au début où on peut entendre un aperçu du morceau. BIG UP JE3F
