"...a zombie flick, a creature feature, or a slasher... that tends to be what most indie filmmakers do for their first production... Del Vecchio decided to go a completely different route and combine elements of Asian cinema with the American haunted house films to create something very unique. A creepy and disturbing atmosphere makes this film stand out above many other films out there... I highly suggest hunting down this great indie film." -Horror-Movies.ca (Click Here for full review)
"An intense indie horror... works well at maintaining tension and the film has a fair amount of heart-pounders in store for fans of the genre."
-MovieJungle.com (Click Here for full review)
"...wasn't your typical slasher at all, as I had first thought... It relied heavily on psychological terror, which made horror films of the 70's so popular." -MoviesMadeMe.com (Click Here for full review)
"...it's a great indie movie with an original concept... and it all leads to a finale that is one of the best I've seen in a while!" -RogueCinema.com (Click Here for full review)
"...the film in its entirety is uniquely crafted and is one not soon to be forgotten by most viewers." -MovieJungle.com (Click Here for full review)

I make movies. I love being creative. I'm a creative type so I have my own little quircks and I'm okay with that. The whole creative process excites me. I think I've been that way since I was a little kid. I've never been interested in "typical" professions. I've been into movies for a long time. I started making movies in 2nd grade. I stopped when I got to high school and got into DJing, did whatever I did with that, and then got into Special Makeup Effects which brought me full circle back to making movies. I no longer focus fulltime on makeup effects. I love the whole process - writing, directing, operating camera and cinematography to editing, color timing, sound mixing, foley, sound design, composing music, etc.
I was a DJ for a number of years. I won the DMC NY STATE regional and went on the compete in the DMC USA FINALS in 2000. The following year, I won the DMC East Coast Head to Head DJ Battle. I mention this because I learned a lot. I learned that dreams do come true if you work your ass off to make it happen and you never give up. That has been one of the most important lessons I've learned. Never settle and follow your dreams.
Someone sent me this and I think it's awesome. I can relate to it A LOT, so I'll share it...
"The truly creative mind, in any field, is no more than this: a human born
abnormally, inhumanely sensitive. To him, a touch is a blow, a sound is a
noise, a misfortune is a tragedy, a joy is an ecstasy, a friend is a lover,
a lover is a god and failure is death. Add to this cruelly delicate organism
the overpowering necessity to create, create, create-so that without the
creating of music or poetry or books or buildings or something of meaning,
his very breath is cut off from him. He must create, must pour out creation.
By some strange, unknown, inward urgency, he is not really alive unless he
is creating." -Pearl S. Buck
That just about sums up exactly how I feel.
"The young do not know enough to be prudent, and therefore they attempt the impossible - and achieve it, generation after generation.
-Pearl S. Buck
"You've gotta have that child-like enthusiasm. You've gotta be a bit nuts..."
-Dick Smith
"I don't believe in pessimism. If something doesn't come up the way you want, forge ahead."
-Clint Eastwood
"Most people like the magic of having it take a long time and be difficult... But I like to move along, I like to keep the actors feeling like they're going somewhere, I like the feeling of coming home after every day and feeling like you've done something and you've progressed somewhere. And to go in and do one shot after lunch and another one maybe at six o'clock and then go home is not my idea of something to do."
-Clint Eastwood
"I don't believe in film school or film theory. Just try and get in there and make the bloody film, do good work and be with people you love."
-Christopher Doyle
"You can't learn how to make films. You gotta make mistakes and you have to appropriate the mistakes, and then you learn from those things. Then you have a voice."
-Christopher Doyle

Who I'd like to meet:
Filmmakers, actors, openminded people, and just cool, respectful, down to earth people. Pretty much people who have a good head on their shoulders... and Chaz Hudak - you bum. I'd like to meet my influences and heroes but at the same time I wouldn't because sometimes you can be let down. I would also like to meet serious producers and investors.
