The success of the Pulse Album has been incredible,a major distribution deal for Fiona Curtis and her band SONIC MONKEY after RESIST gained major radio play and the trio were snapped up by MGM.Todd Reeves, Kaitie Thomas and Laura Cyganik snapped up with their tracks 'TAKEN', 'PUSH ME' & 'EROGENOUS ZONE' by US label PEAK HOUR.Jonze's remix of MERCY FT Chris Jones also featured on PEAK HOUR DOES LONDON Compilation due for release winter 2008 Ms M's track 'RUNAWAY' signed up to BEAT MONKEY RECORDS too after massive airplay on stations KISS (France/Germany & Brazil),PREPARTY radio from Netherlands - Amsterdam, 8 stations from France - RTS radio,and regular play on the massive online station PRESSURE RADIO!
The idea behind this project was to create some dynamic futuristic pop songs and place them with incredible recording artists and thats exactly how it turned out.Paul James wrote the tracks and produced the music but its the artists that made them come to life.Taking a little time out from his usual progressive club vibe Paul has created the ultimate pop album with retro eighties/early nineties undertones and cutting edge production.The extremely talented dynamic vocalists 'pulse' life into each of his 11 sublime creations.So here we witness the birth of 'Pulse'

Ms M or Michele Mc Cain as she's better known has got to be the most amazing vocal talent ive heard in years with her incredible range and a delivery which makes you believe she really feel the heartache in the emotionally written,electro club stomper 'My Pain' and the feisty slowgroover 'RUNAWAY'.I was so lucky to get Ms M on board this project as these 2 songs so needed that DIVA vocal that Michele provided with ease.The tracks kicks some serious ass! Lets hope this crosses over to make Ms M a huge star in the UK as one thing we are lacking in the charts today is a big vocal performance on a dance track,this could well be the answer.GO GIRL,WE LOVE YOU!

Kaitie Thomas was recommended to me by a fellow producer/songwriter Pete Simpson.This guy worked a superb arrangement for 'Push Me' and Kaitie gave me a soulful beautifully layered vocal performance which rocks blended with the electronic tones of this tightly produced mid tempo dance number.This is real gem with 'pop' written all over it.Great work Pete and Kaitie,you did me proud.

Fiona Curtis is part of the incredible live dance band that are 'Sonic Monkey'.I was thrilled to have Fee working on this tongue in cheek dance number and she delivered a vocal in a very Madonna-esque fashion! I loved it and this track rocks the house!Australia has produced some amazing pop/dance artists and Fee is definately one of the best with real dedication to her music.She will go far and big things are about to happen with the Sonic Monkeys too.

Chris Jones is a really talented young man,originally part of indie band The Benz,Chris is now a solo artist writing and performing his own tracks.He has worked with some of the biggest names in the industry.His diverse and sublime vocals will make Chris a household name and a worldwide recording artist.Ive been so lucky to work with Chris on 'Mercy' a fusion of electro and rock fuelled pop,he has delivered the goods and Mercy is a real grower and fits perfectly on the 'Pulse' project.Summed up Chris Jones "YOU ROCK!"

Zoe Alexandra has an impressive range and took the electronic ballad 'In Time' to another level.With the emotional delivery and harmonic layers this track really warms the heart.Zoe has a really unique sound and i cant compare her to anyone else,she has her own sound for sure. With her professional attitude and wicked sense of humour she will take on the industry in a big way. I will be working with Zoe on some dance tracks soon so watch this space.Love ya Zo,you worked damned hard on this one.
Delon Brooks is so gifted vocally he's amazing.Whilst recording the vocals for 'Your Love' both Stella and I were left almost speechless to the beautiful tones and emotional vunerability in his voice.This shows true dedication and passion for his game and i know Delon will be moving onwards and upwards into the industry.Its been a real honour working with him and i hope to again soon.
'Your Love' is a sublime electro fused beat ballad which showcases both Delon and Stella to great effect.Once heard never forgotten,this one definately gets into your head.

Stella Marie goes from strength to strength and she provided beautifully warm and emotional vocals on the duet 'Your Love' with Delon,the blend was enchanting on this one.
'Toy' is quite a liberating affair with dynamic vocal delivery over a futuristic rnb fusion.Both tracks were mixed especially for Pulse and the original versions will be availble on Stella forthcoming album 'Broken' early next year.A triumph for Stella Marie and an absolute pleasure to work with.
Todd reeves is a talented guy.With a wonderfully controlled vocal range and emotion,Todd works his magic on the hypnotic hooks in 'Taken'
Blending superb warmth and range over the driving pulsating beats the marriage of vocals and music are made in heaven.Todd Reeves is also a singer/songwriter and excellent musician in his own right and its been a real honour to have him involved on the pulse project.
