I started playing violin when I was a child, then switched to guitar my senior year of high school. Songwriting came along with the guitar, and I've never had something in my life that felt as natural. I've had a handful of bands over the years -- Stone Soup, Dead Pressed Flowers, Everybody Wins -- but my solo stuff always seemed to get the most attention, so here we go with a newly produced album of my solo material....
"Boy Meets Girl," I'd say, is the proper follow-up to 1999's "Glutton's Dozen." As such, it treats the two LP and three EP releases since then as demos, culling a few tracks from that time along with a bunch of newer songs from the last few years. Dana Cannone produced this 12-track collection, which features the talents of Jason Miller (Rusted Root), Justin Brown (The Crawlin' Low Band, The New Fiction), Ford Thurston (Vibro Kings, Too Tall Jones), Michael Bellar (Amos Lee, the As/Is Ensemble), Zé Luis (Bebel Gilberto), Rob James (The Clarks) and many others.... We're very excited about this album!

Ha I think I'll start spamming you with songs I'm trying to learn on the geetar....but have no chance in hell in doing so!
Too funny.
The look on your face was priceless when thinking you had met me before. If I didn't have to the bathroom, I wouldve played that to the hilt!
HEY! now im not gonna be all sleazy and pretend that im actually saying hello, 'cause its gonna be pretty obvious that this is a mass-produced message. But the good thing is, there are no evil intentions I need to disguise anyway! I'm simply writing cause me and my band are playing a show tomorrow night and naturally we want people to come. It's at Public Assembly, 70 N. 6th St. in Williamsburg, and we're on at 7:30. sheesh! If only everyone was this straightforward, people would fall in love more often!
The Craic Festival 2009 has invited FairplayCollective to play at this years Festival. All members will be playing in the round. The show is at The Mercury Lounge, March 14th at 8pm. This is the last night of the festival and Foy Vance is also on the bill.
What more can I say, a great night for music and film, with the odd star thrown in. Come show your support.
