The official "It's A Great Day To Whup Somebody's Ass" bumper sticker!
Buy two for your car - one for the back and one for the front. Slap one on the dashboard to remind yourself who's boss. Looks great on the fridge, or set up your day by sticking one on your shaving mirror. Spruce up your Segway. Put 'em on your mother-in-law's truck, your preacher's mini van, the soccer coach's mountain bike. They will thank you for it. Rock Uncle Morty's power chair with one. Decorate your kids' bookbags before you send them off to school. The bullies will think twice. Hang 'em from the Christmas tree, paper your rumpus room, line the cat box. And don't forget your golf cart, bass boat, ATV, Chris-Craft, rottweiler's doghouse, unicycle, airplane, catamaran, Soap Box Derby car, cattle trailer, motorcycle, dump truck, funny car, front end loader, go kart, sailboat, deer stand, blimp, oil derrick, Massey Ferguson High Output Rotary Combine, jet pack, mini bike, hang glider, locomotive, bobsled, submarine, etc, etc...

-I tried to post this on the PaulThorn.com Website, but it was too long, go figure...-
As a student of the HipHop/rap genre, most would be surprised that I've ever heard of Paul Thorn. Most people would discontinue reading what I'm typing after that sentence.
First and foremost, I'm a music fan. I like bad music, but I LOVE good music.
Paul was a tried and true failure at several things, yet he never EVER gives up. He didn't settle for working in a chair factory. He worked damn hard, and then worked harder so he could better himself and his family.
Paul Thorn could have passed for a HipHop artist. He's an incredible storyteller, thanks God regularly, and speaks of infidelity often. And, if nothing else, I would hope Paul Thorn has my back if I ever get into a fight (Roberto Duran, are you KIDDING ME?)!!
I worked in an independent music store for the first 6 years of my 20's. Dream job, for sure. As much as I thrust myself into the underground HipHop world, I could always throw on "Blue Stew", "Burn Down the Trailer Park", "High", "Even Hero's Die", and "Mission Temple Fireworks Stand" (covered by Montgomery Gentry or somedamnbody) and several others. We spread the Paul Thorn word back in Rapid City, SD. We spread it often and hard. Honestly, I didn't even have to try hard. Paul really sold himself. Really, who CAN'T relate to "Mood Ring", or "That's a LIE(which is my favorite PT song EVER)".
Now living in St. Paul, MN, I would love to see PT up in these parts. I missed them in Stillwater a couple years back, and I'm still regretful. Keep it Gangsta (or thereabouts, PT).
Simply Listen by She Walks Softly (Joan Britz) January 27, 2009
From your lips to my ear I listen always from far and near. To every story, verse and rhyme and even to your pain love and crime No, I will not judge you no matter what simply listen for that is what I was taught To love completely with my soul every being until they again are whole To help them walk on their own no matter in life the seeds they've sewn For each being is a gift to others and one day will help another So today I beseech all who read this the lesson within do not miss When someone comes to you in need simply listen and to them heed For one day they will be great again and perhaps one of your best friends.
Morning Paul, First I want to Thank you for having such a cool sense of humor in your approach to songwriting. Another friend recently sent me a copy of your Great Day To Whup Somebody's Ass. . . it quickly become my new favorite song. We'll be recording our second record on 1/28 here in San Diego and I'm writing to ask if you would let me "borrow" it for limited pressing of 1,000 CDs? Please let me know what you think ASAP. Thanks again, Chet in Cali.
Today by She Walks Softly (Joan Britz) January 22, 2009
Today I go to fight a battle I did not start I go to fight an enemy that should be my friend Today I fight myself within To remain calm in the eye of the storm that I may be an instrument Today I walk alone once more, yet stronger than before Today I humble myself to our Creator that his will be done Today is the last day of my past Today, I am born again through my deeds Today, I shall live for love and love many.
