Peter Panic é o alter-ego de Pedro Botelho que, através deste projecto a solo explora as sonoridades surf, garage e blues, usando-se apenas de uma guitarra ou baixo, bombo, pratos, basspedal, kazoo e voz.
Por curiosidade, mas também por necessidade, pois encontrar músicos em Vila Real que se identifiquem com estes estilos não é fácil, Peter Panic toca ao mesmo tempo todos os instrumentos enquanto canta, em inglês, as relações entre o homem e o sexo oposto.
Canções curtas, cheias de ritmo, com um som limpo e «tremolado» a fazer lembrar os anos 60 ou sujo e avariado, mais próprio do punk dos anos 70, são a base de um espectáculo que ao vivo nos mostra que mesmo sozinho se consegue fazer uma banda.
Uma coisa é certa… nesta banda ninguém falta aos ensaios!!!

Peter Panic is the alter-ego of Pedro Botelho that through this solo project explores the sound of surf, garage and blues, using only a guitar or bass, bass-drum, hi-hats, basspedal, kazoo and voice.
Out of curiosity, but also of necessity, because in Vila Real find musicians who identify themselves with these styles is not easy, Peter Panic, while playing all the instruments, sings, in English, the relationship between man and the opposite sex.
Short songs, full of pace, with clean and 'tremolo' sounds, to remember the 60s, or dirty and damaged, more like the 70s punk rock, are the basis for a live gig that shows us that even alone we can make a band.
One thing is certain... in this band no one miss a rehearsal!
