   Reverend Rebecca Guile's Blurbs
About me:
FIRST, LAST, MOST IMPORTANT: I AM AN INSTRUMENT OF PEACE AND GOODWILL AMBASSADOR. Peace On Earth is more than just a dream to me, it is my mission in life....and I intend to use my amazing gift of poetry to forward and facilitate Peace on Earth. Some readers' comments on my book, "Out of Cullen Street (A House of Madness)" (available at amazon.com): "I have read your book to others. You are living proof that the human spirit with God's help can conquer the most horrendous obstacles and from it help others." "Just wanted to let you know I read your book of poetry and I thought it was pretty incredible. I was actually quite blown away ... you have an incredible gift. The way you took the reader through the different steps of your past was incredible and sadly I felt I was there experiencing it. I could not put the book down and read it cover to cover." "Your poems are powerful, encompassing love, pain, strength, survival, spirtuality and more -- a true talent which I'm sure, derives from your own personal experiences. Excellent Work!" Described as an excellent therapeutic tool for both reader and writer, "Out of Cullen Street" is a poetic roller-coaster ride that chronicles the author’s interior and exterior experiences of a torture-filled childhood and her journey into forgiveness and healing. Anyone interested in the incredible abilities of the mind to heal and find sanity amidst violence, perversion and mental illness will identify with, and be touched, moved and inspired by, this fascinating true-life story. In Cullen Street, the author, a self-described “Goodwill Ambassador and Instrument of Peace,” uses paper as her canvas and words as her colors. The result is remarkable and unforgettable! Can you see the clouds up there?
I guess we're all fighting for air.
Is there any hope for life?
So go on and get that knife.
Make it short and make it fast.
My life is going past.
I'm struggling high up there
and I can hardly even bear.
This cruelty is tearing me
from here to eternity.
Hate and agony flows
through our lives.
Is this another struggle in our lives?
